Yes, I Really Saw It, part 1

Hit the Road, Jack! June 17, 2006
I've always taken it as a rule not to pick up hitchhikers, but I honestly never considered the increased risk of pulling over in front of a jail!
from Acts 16:
25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyones chains were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.

That's pretty funny! An elder at church where I used to live often picked up hitchikers on his way to work. The timing co-incided with the release time from a local prison. He knew this but took it as an opportunity to witness to them and encourage them to follow the Lord! (Of course I'm not recommending this to women, nor to anyone the Lord doesn't lead to do it, but your picture reminded me of him!)
Blessings,
