When someone starts to make noise, sometimes the best thing to do is to stop and find out why.
from Luke 17:
1 Then He said to the disciples, It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. 3 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

I've got your RSS now...! How handy.
Don't worry, your city's not the only one going to the dogs of sin. When we were up in Saskatoon in February (and it's MUCH smaller than Chicago, believe me) the university was plastered with giant posters of half-dressed teenagers labelled "Carnival of Sex Drag Show." Talk about just slightly horrifying.

I love all the photos you post. I assume you take them- am I right?

I carry my camera almost everywhere. I even picked up a little black purse at the thrift store today for the express purpose of carrying the camera more stylishly. (And then there's room for sunglasses and a compact if I want them, too...) So I take a lot of photos, and you're right: it's safe to assume that I've taken those that I feature. If I have found them or purchased them elsewhere, I usually find a way to notate that in the caption.
But I did not take this fabulous photo of the fledgling, and I failed to give credit where credit is due: my Wonderful Husband. I don't recall how he happened to beat me to the punch, except he's the one who almost stumbled upon the little thing. However, it was I who shot the QuickTime movie...while he was off getting the real video camera.
I'm so glad you enjoy the pictures, and I thank you for saying as much; I have a lot of fun using them.
