Yes, I'm pretty sure that Marcia doesn't read this blog.

So my mom was looking for a necklace with a smaller profile.  This seems to fit the bill.

These brown and ivory freshwater pearls are strung with Swarovski crystals which, although appearing blush-like in this backlit photo, actually appear closer to the color of the pearls, creating an elegant monochromatic necklace with flashes of brilliance from the crystals.

A necklace like this would normally cost $40, but my mom got the "gave-birth-to-me" discount.  I won't disclose what that is, but it's nothing compared to what she's done for me.

So now I've got a short green glass necklace with a decorative gold-tone leaf clasp that is available for me to give my sister for Christmas.  I'll even make you a pair of earrings to match, Lori.
