I love potty training.

I love potty training.

I love potty training...

June 2, 2006 - Potty Training Alumni

Posted by HomeschoolMotherofMany

My mother always told me to relax, when they're 21, they'll be potty trained. At the time I don't think I appreciated her wisdom.

Personally, I found that when I put too much pressure on the potty training, I helped to create a bedwetter. As I had more children, I gave up my idea of the correct age for potty training [typically thought to be age 2] and relaxed. Our younger children didn't have as many "accidents" and hardly ever wet their beds.

Pull ups are one of the best inventions ever for potty training.

I wish you the best! They'll be teenagers before you know it. Enjoy them--they are so precious!
Blessings,
Harriet

Your new mantra! Maybe if we all say it with you, it will help. . .you love potty training. You love potty training. You love potty training. . .

Remind me of this in another year or so. . .

I've been poking around the homeschool blogger website and came upon your site. I really enjoyed reading over your posts. This one especially struck a chord;) Hope you've had a happy Thanksgiving.

BTW, we use a lot of Veritas Press stuff, too, and really love it. Our oldest daughter is using Omnibus this year for the first time and is delighted with it.
