New Prayer Requests:

NOAH NEEDS OUR PRAYERS RIGHT NOW - Little Noah, one of our children we pray for weekly is struggling today - he is in desperate need of our support in prayer. Please lift him up to the Lord and ask that His hand would touch little Noah and cause the pain to stop and healing to begin. You can read about what is happening today with Noah, by clicking HERE.

Aunt Karen - She was scheduled to have a small section removed from her blatter due to possible cancer this week; however, a more serious situation arose and she ended up having surgery on her appendix instead. Now she is healing from that surgery and will have the second surgery when it is safe.

Joe Dillard - He needs to have a pacemaker put in. Because of foot surgery on Thursday the doctors would like to wait at least six weeks to do this because of chance of infection. Pray his heart stabilizes enough to wait.
Mama Archer's Family - Her grandmother passed away Saturday morning. Please pray that the family would unit and be strong together. That there would be peace and that her grandmother's life would be a testimony of hope through Jesus.
Ramona - She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.
Kristine - Her father is in need of heart surgery. He is in the midst of scheduling it and finding the resources to pay for the procedure. Please pray that the Lord would use this opportunity to show Himself to Kristine's father in a powerful way.
Shannon - He had ALS and just wants prayers for his heath to stabilize. Shannon is only in his 40's and has a young family.
Lexi - She is 20 and had a pacemaker put in on Friday morning. She is doing well and at home healing. She needs continued prayer for healing and patience. She is young and ready to get "busy" again - please pray that she would take the time that is needed for rest.
Karen (The S.A.L.T. blog) - Karen is expecting to deliver her baby this week through induction. Please pray that the baby's lungs are strong and mature enough to handle the induction. Also pray for Karen and her health. Please pray that everything would go according to plan and that she would have peace before, during, and after the procedure.
Sean - A change of heart has been happening with him lately... he is starting to ask question about who God is and if He is real. Please pray for a turn around. Please pray for his salvation.
He is a young man, father of two.
Lynn - Her appointment was rescheduled for the 30th at 1:15pm. Please pray that everything will work out for the appointment to happen this time and that questions would be answered about her health situation.
Jenny's niece - She was in an accident a while back which left her with TBA (traumatic brain injury). It is difficult for the person who has it and the people helping/supporting the person. Please pray for strength and wisdom as Jenny's parents are now raising her niece.
Jenny's Mom - She is also in the process of being tested for Alzheimer’s. There is much worry and fear for all of us. Please pray for doctors, mom and the rest of our family.
Kristy - a private matter needs prayer. Please lift her up as God knows the situation.

On-Going Prayer Requests:

Shirley - She is struggling with Cancer. Please pray for comfort and healing.

Mrs. A - She is still facing the surgery for her colon cancer. However, her heart condition has been taken care of and after she heals from that minor surgery (Praise God!!), she will be able to have the Colon surgery, to remove the cancer. The cancer was once thought to be wide spread but now they have determined that is it localized. A true answer to prayer!!

Kristy's friend "W" - Prayer for his salvation and a desire to go to church. Pray that a change of heart would happen and that there would be an opportunity for the gospel to be shared with him and that his heart would be open to receive it.

Children To Pray For:

Grace - Little Grace is still having GI trouble and now may be facing some visual perceptual problems. Please lift this little girl up for healing once again. The tests and treatment that is needed is expensive and additional funds are needed for a necessary ortho consult Grace needs. The family is asking for prayer... prayer for wisdom and patience with finding a new doctor and the means to handle the finances.

Prince Caspian - This little boy is struggling still with his OCD condition. Please pray that there would be wisdom in handling his medicine, treatment, and general care. It can be difficult at times for his family to understand and handle, so please keep them in prayer as well.

Noah - One year old little boy belonging to Kate and Jeff: Ourquiverfull. Much has been happening with Noah. He recently had a transfusion which has left him weak - The parents greatly appreciate your prayers for strength and wisdom. The need for rest also is a concern. Natalie - Two year old little girl belonging to Rob and Kathleen. New photos and updated story of Natalie's condition is on her website - She is doing amazingly well considering this was a hard month for her. She is about to undergo another hard round of chemo this next month. The family covets your prayers. To read more, please Click Here

Praise Reports:

Mary's Husband and Children - They arrived safely home last week. However, they did manage to get the flu once they arrived home - however, all are well as of today. Thank you for your prayer.
Lori - She had surgery on the 15th. Everything went well. She thanks you for your prayers.
Bob - He has gained perspective on the situation at home and will seek help from the community service department.
Nicholas - He is doing great after surgery. Still some swelling on his ankle, but he is able to get around the house now.

New Prayer Request:

Miriam - Lost her job this last week. Is interviewing for a new position next week.
Karen - She is having surgery on Monday to take out a spot on her bladder. They are checking for Cancer due to her history.
Donna - She was recently in a car accident which totaled the family car. Her body is sore and she would like prayer for healing and new transportation.
Jody - She had a court hearing this past week about a possible adoption, but now is having to wait for one month to meet with another judge. Please pray that the Lord's will would be done.
Bob - He needs wisdom in handling his mother's elderly care. Peace in the home and an east transition.
Mary's Husband and Children - Traveling mercies while they drive home, in winter conditions, from a competition.
Lori - She is going to be having surgery on the 15th. Please pray for wisdom in the doctors, peace with Lori and fast healing.
Lexi - She is 20 and will be having a pacemaker put in on Friday morning. This will be her second one. Please pray that everything goes well and she would have a fast recovery.
Nicholas - He is 22. He had ankle surgery last Friday. He is in a lot of pain and would like to find relief. Please pray that he would have endurance for the pain and that healing would happen fast.
Kristy - A private matter that the Lord knows about. Please pray for direction, peace, and confirmation on what to do.
Bobbie -"First, my sister's surgery went REALLY well and she is doing remarkably well.
My Daughter-in-law Syrena that was in the Walmart drive through Truck incident and she has been put on ten day medical leave because of the trauma she is doing much better. Please continue to pray for her emotions. Yesterday my daughter had her toilet replaced, her sewer snaked hoping it was a child shoved something down the toilet only to discover the septic that was just emptied the end of summer was now FILLED! It seems there is a leak somewhere in the pipes in the house. It is a rental and her out of town owner is MIA or dead! She gets no response even when she withheld the check for two weeks. the request....HELP!
Pray for our finances, work, an answer to the problem, and peace through all of this."

On-Going Prayer Requests:

Karen (The S.A.L.T. blog) - Great news in her pregnancy. Everything is going well. Induction will be taking place next week possibly. Karen would like continued prayer all the way through the birth.

Christy's Husband - He is still awaiting news on a possible job situation. Please pray that the Lord's Will would be done.

Shirley - She is struggling with Cancer. Please pray for comfort and healing.

Mrs. A - She is struggling with Cancer and needs peace and comfort. Healing.

Dakota - A one year old little boy. Doctors thought his kidneys may be failing, but all tests came back normal!!! Please pray for wisdom with the doctors and that healing would take place.

PRAISE REPORTS:

The Bettis Family - Their car has been fixed and returned home.

Julianne - She was released from the hospital and doing fine. Julianne is 10

Jon - The pain from his planter wart is gone and the treatment has worked. Jon is 7

Caleb - He is much better and back to being himself. Caleb is 6

Rosina - "I wanted to add my family to your praise report. We found the source of why we have been experiencing so much water in our basement, the drainage pipe had been crushed backing it up and today my dad found it and has fixed it temporarily and the 5 inches of water has drained out of the basement now and I don't have to wear my gumboots indoors anymore!!!" Shirley - she is doing much better. She was diagnosed with pneumonia last week. She still asks for prayer regarding her Cancer.

Prayer Request Sunday - Information

What Is Prayer Request Sunday?

For those who want to know more about this post: Each Sunday, I post a number of prayer requests that I have gathered throughout the week. They range from the very minor to deeper issues that effect every day life. I have categorized each request in one of three sections: new prayer requests, on-going prayer request, requests for struggling CHILDREN, and praise reports.

I highlight praise reports because I personally believe that by hearing about answered prayers, it will not only strengthen our faith as Believers, but it will also keeps us moving forward.
It's a great way to actually see God at work in our lives. So, please be sure to update your situation if you have asked for prayer.

Many Readers will thumb through the request and pray silently in their homes while others write out their prayers in the comment section. Some Readers will post an update in the comment section today, also. Just be sure to read each request and comment all the way through. By the way... No personal information is posted unless permission is granted by the request giver. Also, a bit of advice... sometimes it is easier to pray while reading. It is also great to check back later on in the week for updates.
