Song of the Day~ From the Inside Out By hillsong ( you can click on the link to listen to the song)

Quote of the day~In taking revenge, a man is but even with his enemy; but in passing it over, he is superior.
Francis Bacon

Verse of the day~

“When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.”- Psalm 94:18-19

Now I have wonderful new or actually it is not my news but a fellow HSB bloggers! Recently she asked me to pray for her brother JACK because he was sick.

"May I ask you to pray for my brother, Jack? He has lung cancer that is spreading and is in a tremendous amount of pain. It is extremely difficult to see him in such pain. Thank you and God Bless you." She quoted

Tonight she sent me this comment saying.....

"Serena, Thank you for the prayers for my borther, Jack. His pain has diminshed enough where he is able to move around, remembers things day to day, and actually attended a wedding ceremony this past weekend for a friend (it tired him out but at least he was able to go). Praise God! I truely believe the prayers from you and everyone else are being answered. His pain was previously unbearable as I had written you, now he seems like a different person. God Bless you, I keep you and your prayer intentions in my prayers. Kim"

WOW!!!! A testimony! I hope this says something to all of y'all! Your prayers can be answered too! So send them in however you want to! I am waiting!

In a couple of days I will write a post about our back to back prayer nights! The first one so far was AMAZING and full of the Holyspirit!!!!! I can't wait for the next one!!!

Thought by dixiefiddler

Praise God! That is so awesome!
I know I didn't ask for prayer for this but I have a testimony.
North/west Alabama was going through a drought. A BAD drought. The town's water level is messured on a scale of 1 to 10. Well, it was on a 1 and sinking very fast, and the crops are all dried up.
But one Wendsay night at church Mom asked that we pray for rain. Guess what it was doing all last night?!? RAINING!!! :-D
Have a blessed day.

Sep. 2, 2007 - Update of Jack.

Thought by advancedmaternalage

Serena-Jack had chemo last week in Philadelphia. He was sick Satruday, Sunday, Monday, but Tuesday he started to feel better. The doctor told him and his wife that he thinks the chemo is working---something they didn't expect to happen as the cancer was spreading so rapidly. As long as it doesn't paralyze him--it is now in his vertebra and the fear is he will be paralyzed in a few months. With the exception of the chemo side effects and being tired out often, the pain is much better managed and he is attending church once again regularly. This gives him peace and joy. His hair has fallen out this past week and I offered to shave my head also and he laughed and laughed. It was great to see him laugh. I can never thank you and all of your prayer warriors for all of your prayers. Thank you and God Bless. I will keep you and your intentions in my prayers and keep you updated on Jack.
