Another Day...
This is the second morning that I have gotten up and gone for a walk before the REAL heat begins. It cooled down to 70 degrees last night, so it was nice. This morning my DH went with me. I usually use it as a time for prayer. I cannot go without having my 'quiet' time. There was a time when I thought I could start my day and even go several days without being 'in the Word'. That season was a hard time. I learned the preacher was right that said, "Sin keeps you longer than you want to stay, costs you more than you want to pay and takes you further than you want to go!" I thought I could just pick up my relationship with the Lord when I was ready...how wrong I was. It was a long season, and I hope I never have to learn it again.
