A few months back, Ann wrote of establishing a "Peace Place" in their home, where each member of the family could go to collect themselves, search their heart, and lay their anger before God. I knew this was something our family could use. As a fresh start for the new school year, even though we are educating year-round, I am implementing a few things, all of which I'll share with you. But go read Ann's post about a "Peace Place".
I have been struggling so much with anger the last couple of years! It was heart-breaking for me to see this chart, and realize how often I choose the wrong way to handle anger. I've known it's true, but seeing how ugly it looks on paper is another thing.
I truly desire that the Lord would help our whole family to be peacemakers - with each other and those we relate to! I love this idea of the peace place. Thanks for sharing this, and I'm looking forward to hearing more from you on the subject.
