I don't know if you check back to read old comments....so I thought I'd comment here. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your transparency in the post about living above the emotional line in raising children. It's so easy to feel like you are the only one struggling in an area. I printed off your message and have re-read it several times. I would love to hear more about how you practically implement this. It's the daily nitty gritty of choosing relationships over getting things done that is difficult. Finding the balance between relationships and accomplishing tasks...know what I mean? I've been trying to think as I've gone through the past few days, manage them...build a relationship WHILE you work....stop working and go play. But it's hard, you know? Any way, thanks again so much for the post. It was life-changing!
