The Princess Journey

• Mar. 20, 2006 - Peace as I see it.

Qoute for the day... "Well, I better get the things done around here that need done." Understanding- Just what I had asked for. We've all got to much to do to worry about all the 'w's?' and the 'h?'!

On Saturday, we went on a hike at the E.s and I'll have to tell you all about it. It was so nice! I was tired after the first hill, and so sore from playing dare-base the day before, but I kept on, and it felt good to exert my willpower. It was funny because Matthew, T. and N, had said they were coming, but didn't leave with us, so I had figured it would be an ambush. Well, when we got over one of the last hills Rachel and Kylie got tired, so they stopped to sit and wait. I went ahead, but stopped before the last hill. It was a big one, and I thought I would go check on the ambush. hehe, so I went back (after lying on my back in the dirt and letting the wind blow away my cares). The girls weren't where I left them, but I suspected something behind a rock ledge. (I just had a gut feeling.) It was the girls, and from that point you could see two figures about a mile off standing on a hill below. Aha, that would be the ambush. I sat for a minute with R and K, but decided to hit the sage brush and travel descretely down the hill to ambush the ambush. :) That was the beginning of more great fun, I made my way, crawling slowly, so I wouldn't be spotted from below. I could see three figures now, and they were running up the hill. I continued to creep behind sage brush, then I made a wild dash for another clump of bushes and heard a quick shreek. I wasn't sure if it was meant to be a gun shot or what, but I was still after that. I knew I must have been spotted. Then, I saw someone in blue, approaching under cover. He was wearing a mask, and hid, like me, behind sage brush. I advanced, and withdrew several times again. Finally, he was within 5 feet, jumped out and fired at me. I laughed and stood up. "If I had only had a gun." N. said "It would have been so much easier if you did, because we could have had it out for a while." Then, Matthew stood up from his hiding spot just behind N., and T. came from behind me. Their ambush wasn't a complete failure, but if I had had a gun... N. gave me one, then they asked me to join them, and we went off creeping again to find more people. I went with Matthew and N and T went to find R and K. We saw Benjamin coming from the other direction and quickly ducked, he had seen us at that point, so it was no good, but Rebecca came along and almost tripped on Matthew. N and T shot her though. I didn't know that, but I jumped out and fired at her when she came near my hiding spot.

I'll tell more later, so this doesnt get tooooooo long. :D
