| I can't believe it! Dad said it would be fine for me to go to RBC as a volenteer this year. I have kind of wanted to do it for the past 3 summers, but it never got far enough on the priority list to get an answer. I was tickled pink today when I asked Dad, because I had brought it up last week to give him time to think about it. Today he said "Didn't I already say that would be fine?" I am so excited and happy! I believe it's going to be June 11-17, but I'm not positive. Anyway, I'm going to (probably) be a kitchen helper, and/or any number of things. M. said, I could probably fill at least 3 full time positions. lol. He has volenteered there for about 5 years, so I think he knows the ropes pretty well. The two Nancy's are going so I'll probably have a good time helping them, and my brother in-law and nephew are going too. On another note, I'm planning a birthday party for Isaac, on Sunday afternoon. It's probably going to rain, so we are trying to think of good games to play indoors and outdoors in the rain. Isaac was in a car accident in November 2004, so that he had to have a metal rod put in his leg to hold his hip together. He now has trouble with running, and after playing dare base for Benjamin's birthday, he has been putting up with enough pain to say we can't play anything that rough. I really wish we could, because he loves to play hard. He's going to be 17. I'll think of something. So far, we are thinking of shooting at baloons and volley ball. (I really don't know how he's going to get away with volley ball.) Also, we are going to have Pizza after we've worn everyone out. Any ideas for me? Let me know what you think. |

As for your friend, can he move a little? There is a fun game we used to play called "States". Everyone picks a state, stands around in a circle, with one in the middle. One person starts out by calling out a state, the person with that state has to call out another one before the one in the middle whacks them in the head with a rolled up newspaper. Quite fun, very rowdy and no one gets seriously hurt(the newspaper has to be whacked rather vigourouly before it stings).
