My mom found this contest on my pen-pal Kira's mom's blog. I really wish that I could win this one. I know my mom would LOVE to put this Vietnamese Angel on the top of our Christmas tree. Both my brother Ian and I were born in Vietnam, so this would be a very special thing for us.

I haven't posted on my blog in awhile. We have been so busy with finishing up our school for the year and going on vacation. We just got back from a week at the beach. It was fun! I love going to the ocean and playing in the sand. We made a little swimming pool for my little brother - we dug a hole in the sand and used an old shower curtain to put over the hole and fill with water. Ian loved it! So he played in his pool while I made sandcastles.
When we got home, we got some good news. My picture is going to be on the front of a book! My mom, Ashley, and I got to read the book awhile ago because my mom is friends with the author. It's a really good book! We think it's the best Circle C book yet! Here is the cover:

I like to make these color-by-number pictures for my mom to do. I draw a picture, then put numbers in each section with a code so my mom knows what color to use. Here is a picture of one that she already colored.

I got a new pen-pal and yesterday I got my first letter from her in the mail! She lives in Canada now, but she is from Vietnam, just like me! I liked getting her letter~ she sent me a Valentine, some stickers, and some really cool hair clips. Do you have a pen-pal?
