My favorite time to play outside is winter.  There are so many fun things that you can do outside during the winter.  You can have snowball fights, build snowmen, go sledding and make snow angels. 

My most favorite thing to do is snowball fighting. I like snowball fighting because; you can pretend that you are in war. You can build yourselves fortresses and have teams. 

My second most favorite thing to do is go sledding. I like sledding cause you can go really fast. The neatest part about sledding is making a path and getting stuck. But I enjoy going down the slopes.

And my third favorite thing to do is build snowmen. I like building snowmen because you can make them gigantic. You can decorate them with carrots, scarves and hats.

And last but not least, my fourth favorite thing to do is make snow angels. I like making snow angels cause their like guardian angels.

Winter is lots of fun!  I can’t wait for the first snow.  It is always nice to enjoy a hot cup of hot chocolate after being out in the cold air. Don’t forget the marshmallows!

On Tuesday, we went to the zoo.  I love going to the zoo.  We always see and learn about lots of animals.  Today,we saw lots  of freaky, scary fish and lizards.  We also saw some mammels. 

     The first animal we saw were the sea lions.  And we arrived just in time to see the lions perform.  Their names were Lucy, Nick and Gidget.  They did lots of tricks.  One trick they did was jump ten feet high into the air!  Wow thats high!  They also taught them how to wave and kiss.  I thought that that was cool.  I think the coolest of all was, that they taught them to lie down. The trainers said that they teach them how to survive in the wild by teaching them things they they would have to do in the wild.

     Then, we moved on to Tropical Discovery.We saw lots of fish and we also saw the giant snaping turtle.   The Giant Snapping Turtle was AWSOME!!!

     The last animals we saw were the giraffes.But they weren't outside!  We asked what they were doing to the giraffe habitat.  We found out that they were redesigning it.  Thats is why all the giraffes were inside. 

After we left the giraffe house we had to leave.  My Mom forgot to pack a lunch.   I wish we could have stayed longer.  But I'm hoping that we will be able to go to BOO at the Zoo or Zoolights.

The sea has all different kind of fish and crabs,under the sea there are shipwrecks of old pirate ships.Some people go fishing in there fishing boats.And some boats carry  people who ( diver's)study the sea.  The sea is calm.

Holloween is the scarryest time of year. Kids go trick-or-treating, dressed in there costumes. Some are scarrey and some are not scarrey. Some don't even celabrate holloween.

Dear Diary,

Today while pa was gone, our chimney caught on fire!! Here's the story. When me, Mary and baby Carrie were playing with our dolls, I smelled smoke. So I said to Ma,"I smell smoke ma."  "Where." she said. And I pointed toward the chimney. OH NO! I hope the chimney is in't on fire! So she ran outside and tried to put the fire out. And then I wanted to help to. But Ma said ,"Stay back Laura, I don't want you to get hurt"! So I stayed back and went inside. But when I went inside, there were flying sticks every where!!!! And I saved, Mary and baby Carrie. 

Dear Diary,

Last night we heard a horibble scream! So pa quickly got dressed, put on his boots and took his gun. Sounded like it came from Scott's house! said pa. Charles, you don't suppose---. No. said pa. And then he said, " Be right back". And walked out the door. "What was that horibble scream", Ma? said Laura. "I don't know. That's why pa is going to find out". said Ma. When pa came he told us," It didn't come from Scott's houes but, it was a panther"!!! 

Paulina loves to pick pumpkins for her pumpkin pie. She owns a pumpkin farm,and has pumpkins every shape and size. Long ones, big ones, and even triangel ones!

Ice cream is yummy! My favorite mix ins are, M&Ms and crunched up Oreos. When I have ice cream, it's like I am in heaven. It's, cold, freezing And YUMMMMMMY!!!!!!!!!!  It is creamy, soft and delicious.  Can you tell that I LOVE ice cream?

Dear Diary,

Today my dad just got done with the, roof and floor.And earlier that day, me,Mary, ma and baby Carrie saw two Indians that come into our house,and did signs to ma for her to cook cornbread and all of Pa's tobacco!

Dear Diary,

Today, my dad built a door and a chimey. Tommrow he will build a roof and floor. I wish we could have stayed in The Big Woods. But now pa has built a cozy log house that has a door and a chimey. And soon we will have a roof and floor.

My favorite food is pizza. My favorite activity to do is color,make stuff , and paint. I have #1 BFFL aka, Best Firends For Life.

The house plant has long leaves. We water it every day. Well almost every day. Some are dead. And some look like they are half eaten. The house plant is hanging up on the wall. 

Home schooling is awsome some times.
