Bats

Animals are a great thing in this world, but there are more to   animals than you think. You see animals can be cute and cuddly, but they can also be mad and ugly. Some times the ugliest animals can be the most gentlest of them all. Bats can be known as a threat to us humans but they are actually the sweetest animals in the world. We only know them as pests because of the saying “Mans Best Friend” was put with dogs. Some people don’t know it but more people end up in the hospital from dogs than bats. In fact bats don’t always carry rabies. They get them like any other animals do. And a lot of people think that they’re blind, but they’re not. Bats have a great vision, and some bats use this thing called echolocation. I know sounds silly doesn’t it, but it’s not they make a high squeaky sound that is so high and tiny we can’t even hear it. Then if the bat is close to something like a tree the high sound will bounce off of the tree and come right back to the bat. This way it knows that it needs to move. Bats even use it to catch their food. It may sound hard to believe but it’s true. All of this may sound confusing I couldn’t even get it from the start but you’ll get it eventually. And did you know that bats play a very important part in life they eat over 3,000 bugs an hour. They do this to keep the bug population under control.
