Last night I was able to catch a movie that I've been wanting to see but just never got around to it. I sat down and watched the last 2 hours of King Kong ( the newer version) .... I didn't get to watch the first hour but I was satisfied watching the last 2 ( and yes it is a 3hour movie..)

I thought ( even thought I watched the last 2 hours) that King Kong is a really good movie. Even though there are some not so pretty scenes... such as Kong breaking a dinosaurs jaw in half ( I cringed at the part..lol), and the men getting attacked by huge bugs.

I thought the way they computer generated Kong was amazing. And I was pleased they kept the girl somewhat modest during the scenes were she's in a night gown.. I really enjoyed watching it. If your a action movie fan ( oh by the way ... if you made it though Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, you could watch this movie.. from my point of view) like me. This is one to see.

What do you do during a summer afternoon. Swim, yes. But I also like to watch a good movie.

Surf\'s Up Movie

I bought my sister Surfs Up for Christmas. At that time I hadn't seen it. But she told me it  was so good and I thought I would try it even though I'm not a big cartoon movie person.

Now I absolutely LOVE this movie. My sister just put it in this afternoon. No matter how many times I've seen this I still crack up laughing.

Here's a expert about the movie from Pluggedinonline.

"As soon as there was the first wave, there was the first surfer. All you needed was a piece of driftwood or a block of ice, and you were off."

So says Cody Maverick, a 17-year-old rockhopper penguin obsessed with surfing. While his peers in chilly Shiverpool, Antarctica, dutifully incubate eggs and sort fish, Cody paddles into one icy swell after another. The impetuous youngster is undeterred by big brother Glen's mockery and his mom's inability to connect with his passion. Cody dreams of becoming a pro surfer (and a documentary crew chronicles his aspirations). A powerful memory stokes his ambition: the day surfing's reigning patriarch, Big Z, paid Shiverpool an unexpected visit. Big Z's message: "No matter what, find a way, 'cause that's what winners do."

Cody gets his shot at the big time when surfing talent scout, shorebird Mikey Abromowitz, glides into town on the back of a whale. Goodbye Antarctica, hello Pen Gu, an idyllic Hawaii-like paradise that serves as a magnet for monstrous waves and the world's best surfers. Cody soon befriends Chicken Joe, who is an unlikely "waterfowl" boarder from Sheboygan, Wis., and a pretty lifeguard named Lani Aliikai. Standing feathers and flippers above everyone, however, is the obnoxiously self-centered champ Tank "The Shredder" Evans, whose rule began when Big Z was apparently killed while competing nine years earlier.

Despite Cody's determination to show what he can do, a violent wipeout in an early surfing contest against Tank almost ends his career before it begins. But when Lani takes Cody to the home of a washed-out old surfer named Geek to help heal his injuries, the young penguin gradually discovers there's more to surfing than just winning ... and that there's more to Geek than meets the eye.

Besides some miner cuss words this is a funny movie. And one of my all time favorites!

Hi everyone. I hope your having a wonderful memorial day! Were just hanging out at the house today. I got in our pool for a little bit but didn't last long. It was very cold and it was windy outside.

indiana jones 4

My wonderful daddy took me out to see Indiana Jones Sunday. If you have watched all 3 Indiana Jones movie's I hope you go to see this one. It was so awesome and good. Now as some of you may know I'm and a Star Wars and Indiana Jones fan deep at heart. I even have a Indiana Jones " Raiders of the Lost Ark" moive poster. So from a true Indy fan. I give it a 100 out of 10.

( and let me say Shia Labeouf  does a awesome job in this movie! )

If you want to read a "real" movie review on Indiana and "the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" check out ~ www.pluggedinonline.com

Here my favorite line from Indian Jones 4 ( taken from the pluggedin review)

"You're a teacher?" asks incredulous greaser Mutt Williams( Shia Labeouf), who by plot contrivance becomes Indiana's sidekick.

"Part time," Indy says.
