HEY EVERYONE...GUESS WHAT TODAY IS…IT’S INDEPENDENCE DAY!
I’m back now. We had a wonderful trip. I love getting to see all my cousins. I also got to see my friend, Haley. She kinda related to me like she’s my mom’s sister’s husband’s sister’s daughter. lol So my uncle Gary’s(by marriage) niece. So I hope you all got that. It was all really fun. The last day we were there it was just our family left and my aunt Judy took us on a walk down Washington Ave. I think, and it had the most BEAUTIFUL houses in the world. I was really considering writing a note saying, “I will work for you do anything for you if you will just let me live in your house” but I didn’t. lol
It’s amazing how God has still blessed this country even with all that goes on here. I mean we’re like Sodom and Gomorrah. Maybe there’s some one out there asking God that if He can find 100 righteous people that He won’t destroy this whole country. But today is a day that we celebrate our independence and of how God has blessed this country so greatly. I feel so blessed to be living in a country that most people wish they could live in just for a bit of freedom. We in America take this for granted so much. We have cars that get us places in no time at all. We don’t truly understand the meaning of working for your money and earning that money fairly. We have become so secure in our little ways that unless we can truly see what it’s like to live somewhere else we are still the same as always. My pastor’s son, Jonathan, went to Africa not to long ago and when he came back he was truly changed. He no longer took things like clothes and food for granted. I’m glad he had that experience. Anyway I’m not trying to preach at anyone.
SO HAVE A GOOD 4TH OF JULY!!!!!
