Jul. 5, 2007 - When Calls the Heart

Can’t really post much but I just wanted to say this before I forgot. I got to read a wonderful book over my vacation. It’s called When Calls the Heart by Janette Oke. She is the writer of the Love Comes Softly series which was later turned into movies. So if you like good romantic novels with a bit of adventure then this is the book for you. The place is Alberta, Canada in 1910. It’s about a woman who’s a eastern schoolteacher. She’s been brought up with all the fine things in life. When she’s offered a job out west to teach she decides to take it on one condition, she will never marry one of those adventureous, tough, and roudy western men. Could there be one man to change her mind? Read to find out.

On my next post I’m gonna write about how I’m gonna grow up and make this a movie and who the stars are gonna be. lol It’s silly but I really like to act like I could make a movie someday. Maybe I will. Maybe you’ll see

I think I've read that one but I am not sure. I used to read her books alot but they've kinda begun to run all together, there's so many!

THAT IS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE SERIES! Personally, I don't like reading those kind of books, but LOVE seeing them on TV. I can't wait to see the fifth one! I just watched the fourth, "Love's Abiding Joy" with my mom and sister. We had to wait for months to see it because I have two brothers and a dad. And, I don't know many guys that would spend their free time watching a chick flick. :)
