*drags wounded self from torture chamber*

Ugh... ack... moan....

Canning. Nuff said? Today, we picked enough raspberries for pie filling and jelly, made tomato sauce, tomato juice, dried tomatoes, canned blackberry juice, canned raspberry juice, made pickles, and froze a thousand pounds of corn.

It's now 9 pm... We just had dinner... Why am I on the computer? I dunno...

Good night...

(Edited the next day to add that we also did apple cider. Forgot about that one.)

Ooooohhh... I sympathize- if I spelled that right.
What I dislike most is taking the skins off of the cherry tomatoes if we are canning them. We did a lot of those this year and made salsa because we couldn't use them all up, and it takes....so....long.... The big tomatoes I don't mind.
We mostly did tomatoes and pickles this year, although we have done beans and peaches and pickled carrots (those are awesome)in the past.
We made cider yesterday, but we didn't can it. We drank it all :-)
