Book Review: Keeping Holiday

Posted in Book Reviews
The next book I'm reviewing for Crossway is Keeping Holiday by Starr Meade. Seemed fitting to post it on Christmas Eve, owing to the subject of the adventure.

This Christmas story follows Dylan and Clare as they travel to find a wonderful place called Holiday ruled by someone known as The Founder. The road is filled with dangers and temptations to keep the two kids from reaching Holiday... And as they get closer, the obstacles become more difficult to overcome. Do they make it and finally get to find the Founder?

I'll tell you up front that they don't find the Founder. Because like everyone tells the kids, "You don't find the Founder; he finds you."

This is a wonderful story for young children, because it's interesting and teaches lessons from perseverance to courage in danger to trust in The Founder (God).

Now everyone go have a wonderful Christmas! :-)

How's it going?
I just noticed that you don't have the "WA State Flood Victims" button up anymore, so I'm taking mine off too. Just say the word and I'll stick it back up.
God bless,
Christina

Oh, you're reviewing for Crossway, too? That's neat. How often do you get books?
I see college has attacked, since you haven't posted recently. I'm trying to blog more and visit more, but the flu attacked me last week so I'm behind.
What are you taking?

Oh, I have a German question. I"m doing rosetta stone and I'm sure I remember from my old German classes that I can respond, "Es geht mir gut" to "Wie geht's?"
However, Rosetta Stone keeps wanting me to say, "Mir geht es gut." Sounds funny to my instinctive "ear" of the past. So, what say you?

I'm totally amazed at how fast everything is coming back to me. IT's all there...just needs to be accessed from the correct file and activated. LOL

That does sound like an interesting story. I haven't been here in quite a while! I was wondering if you have ever heard of a website called Ravelry? It is for knitters and crocheters. I just found it a couple of weeks ago, and have been quite excited about it. I posted about it on my blog.

Have a very bright, very cheerful day!
