Hi everyone!
Hi guys!! well, yesterday I had a hippology compotition and it was SOOOO fun! Danielle and I got down to the 4-H building at around 7-ish and all of our teams loaded up into the vans and headed of to a working ranch where the compotiton was. When we got there, the coaches dissapeared into a building where they talk about choach stuff and all of us kids headed off to this big bunk house that was going to hold us and a bunch of other counties. one of the kids named Gavin brought a ball so most of the novices and Juniors from our county went out and started playing a ball game that i don't know the name of it and we all got kind of bored with that so we started playing volley ball and then we got bored with that and started playing soccer. Now THAT was fun! we broke off into 2 teams and there were goalies and everything. This 16 yr. old named Ben and I were both trying to get the ball away from each other and the ball went under the porch so we were both on the opposite side of a post and he kicked it and the ball smacked me is the schin and then this other girl name Cheyanne kicked the ball into my schin and she can kick! Then, the seniors came out and started to play and this kid Chris kicked me in the schin on accident with his steel toed boot! OUCH! It started to bruise but there's like barely any bruise now. Then, they called us in because the compotition started.
The manager of the ranch was telling us about the ranch and then I think it was the lady who organized the compotition started going over the instructions then the real thing started. All the counties that were there -novices-juniors-seniors all got a written test and I did really bad. :-( But ow well, The questions were really hard! There was this one thing we had to identify, Grand mal, and I left it blank because i had NO idea what it was and then afterwards, Gavin told me he put down Giant Sledge hammer! LOL But I quite a few right just not the other quite a few. :-/ Then we went off to judge real horses -halter-pleasure. and i'm pretty sure I did o.k. with that. Then Chris and this other boy named Bryan who's a senior were playing catch and then me, Danielle, Gavin, Mary (who's on my team too) and maybe some other people. But anyway, we were playing Jackpot and one of the boys were throwing it and Chris and I both jumped for the ball while it was in the air and I landed right as he was coming out of the air and he landed right on my back! That actually didn't really hurt but then he's like, youn gotta stay out of my way because when I was coming down I'm just like woa, there's a girl there. (he was teasing me.) LOL
Then, we went to do one-on-one testing and i think I did o.k. with that too, and then identifying which i think I did alright with that too. But somewhere in there, We had b-day cake because it was Mary's birthday and it was good! Mary saved this big piece for Chris (I'm not sure why) and we told him and the first thin he said was, what'd you do to it? LOL (we didn't do anything to it;) We also played Jackpot and soccer, and dodge ball. Then, we got our awards.
drum role please... our team got 3rd out of four teams and Danielle got 10th and I got 4th place individually out of 16 juniors!! So we did farely well.
well, I'll hopefully post the pictures from the compotition later if my mom will let me post pictures of my face on here. hehe but we also have verizon so we have limited gigabyte space and we discovered that putting a lot of pictures on one post takes up alot of space.
