I am still alive.
Hello everyone. I'm so sorry i haven't written in forever!! Copper and Casey are good, after Copper and my first two barrel races, (we got a 2nd, a 3rd, 2 4ths, and a 5th.) He did so well! but he cut his leg open the next day and i cried, some friends came and helped us get him int he trailer, the vet came and had to stitch, she said he'll be able to do barrels again which is not my top priority just so he can compete again cus he loves it! but that was in June and now it looks so much better! It's almost all healed up and I'm riding him again!! just at a walk though. He wants to go though. lol Casey is home from the trainers and he's amazing!! I took him to a 4-H trail ride, I took him to a show for barrel and we just trotted and cantered on the way home and we got a fifth and a sixth. But I was very proud of how well he did and now we're loping the patterns and he's doing very well. YAY!!! We had to work on his work ethic but he's coming along really well!! They're so funny!! Casey will somehow open the latch of Coppers door and let him out in the middle of the night so my dad put a chain on it so now he can't lol they play like little toddlers. they grad each other's halters and yank each other around and rear up and nibble on each other. it's so funny. lol We started school 2 weeks ago and we're getting on a schedule. Which is nice because my mom and I do not like being dissorganized. haha :-) Alyssa is getting so big, she walking and running now and can say a few words and her pitch is... loud. lol she loves horses and she loves riding them too! Susanna is getting really good at riding her little pony Tootsie Toes. She's trotting and doing the barrel pattern and she's doing a lot of "big girl" things. My family and I are working on canning tomatoes and I think we're going to do Apples next. Casey and I have a horse show this Saturday and I hope he's well! He's doing so good here! When we get him there he'll probably be more alert then usual but he should settle down pretty quick. I love how laid back he is he's such a good boy!! I'm going to try to post a lot more then I have been. I have a face book acount now so anybody who is on facebook let me know!!!
