The Heat is On!! Science teachers from all over are engaged in a zany cook-off to find the greatest science experiment of all time!! The Iron Science Teacher site is the answer to every homeschool parent's science needs! This site is not only interesting and entertaining but it offers fun and engaging ideas for to use in our classroooms. The experiments are created using everyday items that are readily available to us such as a plastic bag, a milk carton, or a nail. The archive of competitions is grouped by topic like household items, holidays, kitchen items, desk items and the recycling bin. Some other items used include candles, chocolate, pumpkins, corks, Jello and water bottles.
But the best part... everything is recorded and can be viewed online, so that you don't miss a single experiment! In a fast-paced atmosphere where showmanship and creativity reign, science teachers are given ten minutes to concoct a science activity that can be used in the classroom!
