I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't have the time nor the energy to create worksheets for kids! My responsibilities are to my home, to my children and to my husband. I find it somewhat overwhelming already without adding 'creator of curriculum' to my list of jobs! We left the public school system because of the lack of resources for my oldest with ADD, not because I didn't have respect for those teaching my kids. Leaving was more about the way the public system is run! That being said, there is lots of fabulous teacher created resources on the Internet, and I intend on using what I can!

This week has been a week of searching for nice, professional worksheets for my kids. There's alot out there but I prefer the worksheets with a space for the child's name and date! So here's another free resource for everyone! It's called Primary Resources by Gareth Pitchford. He's a teacher from the United Kingdom.
This is what he has to say;
"This site is just one of the many teaching resources sites on the Internet. It contains a bank of free, ready to use ideas, resources, worksheets and lesson plans. They're available for you to use with your class at no cost whatsoever (except the cost of your connection to the Internet!).
This site is usually updated weekly during UK term times. You can subscribe to my site's mailing list if you want to know when I've added new resources (and what resources I've added). It's also worth keeping an eye on our Primary Resources blog which features news and links to other sites of interest.
This is a wonderful place to find interactives, links and many more resources for primary grades."
Sounds good?
I suggest you go visit, check around and download often! (And let our host know you 've been there! He'd love to hear from you!)

I have been looking for multiplication worksheets all morning. (Found out that my ds really hasn't mastered his multiplication tables like he should have yet!) I found the regulars like About.com and RHL School but I can't resist looking for more! Better. Then I found a really great website that I wanted to share. Immediately. It's called Googol Learning! It's a fantastic site that offers math worksheets! Really nice worksheets. Professional looking worksheets. And games! Math games. If you become a member, there's also videos, more games and so much more. And the articles! Wow.
Go check for yourself, I'm sure you'll agree, that this is one fantastic site! Googol Learning! **(ohh and they're homeschool friendly,too! Gotta love that!)

This is one of my favorite 'educational' sites for kids!
VisitiKnowthat.com and look for the "iGuy OK" icon. These are questions sets that are recommended for their educational content.

The site says that the cost for the whole set is $10 but if you simply sign the guestbook you can have it all for free! Now that is easy isn't it?
I haven't even had time to download all of it yet, there is soooo much on this one! But be sure to go and check it out because they look absolutely FAB!
