The King and I

After a 10 day delay, the King and I were finally able to celebrate our 14th anniversary.  Aunt Mewwy (have to be Middle Son to pronounce the name correctly) came to hold down the fort and watch the children and generously announced we weren't to be home at any certain time at all.

We went to Cha Cha's for tapas (appetizers), then Market Square for a nice walk and a visit to Oodles, and then to the SunSpot for their fabulous ahi.  We caught a small portion of "The Importance of Being Earnest" on the square, as well as some talented street musical performances -- of the genre wherein you pay by tucking a dollar into an open instrument case.  The best kind.

At the end of the evening of uninterrupted conversation, I was struck by the fact that my husband is still one of the most interesting people  I know, as well as one of the most talented conversationalists -- even after 14 years of marriage.  I hereby pronounce him a "keeper."  Two thumbs up!
