Tim needs a theme song
|
No, seriously; he actually needs a theme song. The details are all right here.
How about we all post our ideas, Tim picks from our pool of ideas and then he rewards us all for trying? He makes a mean blackened chicken on the barbie (I'm still not sure whether it was "blackened" intentionally or perhaps a happy mistake?). A late-summer soiree might be just what the doctor ordered, if the Village comes through for you, Tim!
Here are my ideas:
- The song "It Can Happen" by Yes seems to have been written for a motivational speaker. And it has a very yippy skippy yet cool tune. Love the music. Very happy song. It would fit Tim perfectly walking out on stage. Here are the lyrics.
- "Beautiful Day" by U-2. Here are those lyrics. Again, fresh, upbeat and energetic -- like Tim.
What are yours?

You are a queen indeed (except if you spill Jello on the floor then watch how quickly the queen transforms into 'Mad Mom" - just when you thought it was safe to make a simple dessert together!). I know you were sharing from your heart but I had to laugh as I imaged the scene (having ruined more than one treat with a major spill!).
I'll scheme up something for anyone participating. It MAY be this week. What I am thinking: A Nashville singer/song writer friend is coming over Thursday night to stay with us. We had talked about having her do a house concert. IF the timing works out (I know there's some woman's bonding night at LL's), we might either host a little coffee house OR see if we can have it a downtown coffee house - The Capitol maybe?). Thoughts? Anyone who submits a song is invited. BTW, YMCA is DEFINITELY out too.
Note: The music is as or more important than the words because there really won't be a lot of time to listen to the words.

my ma told me about it, but we don't pick up many stations on our tv, and only seem to watch corner gas and american idol. we used to watch the amazing race but kind of forgot about it.
we really had a great time last night. the seamstress for the community theatre is incredible. neal was glad because one of the ladies said his outfit was just one of many for "slimmer" men ... HA!!
I am off to an aqua-fit class for some stupid reason. I kind of know the lady who asked me to go, but I am scrawny and don't usually please the other people in the pool with me ... like I am anorexic or bulimic or something and trying to "show off ". yeah. that's me. all about showing off.
anyway, things here are interesting and we have much more to ponder and "fix" than what we first thought when taking a summer off church alone.
pray for us ... things are not easy.
but, God is faithful
