About Me

I'm a homeschooling mother of 3 boys; 2 school-aged and 1 infant. Like all mommies out there, I wear about 50 different hats. Mine range from political activism to closet canoeist, with many strange twists in between. As they say in my neck of the woods "come in and set [sic] a spell -- we'll chew the fat together."

Best thing since sliced bread

Today, I observed that genuine progress has occurred in the organic food industry :  Horizon is now selling milk in gallon-size containers! 

$5.99 a gallon at Krogers. 

What will they think of next?

by the gallon is 4.99 at Food City. It has been on sale for almost a month. It is regularly 5.69. I think it is Full Circle brand... something like that anyway.
