Oct. 8, 2005 - It's over!!
Well, the feast came and went. All went well. It was a mess afterwards but dear hubby cleaned it all up for me. What a sweety. The boys stayed in character and our guests were awesome! We ate with our fingers and a knife! We had nine courses!! Entertainment followed the meal and we even had a knighting ceremony for my middle son. I definately feel as if this was an amazing way to end a unit. I look forward to our next unit!!

what fun! we did this as a church this summer.. EVERYONE was in costume... we made shields... learned how to play recorder.. archery....dancing... great fun....as for your 6yo and the reading.... we went throught he same thing with my now 14yo... we just quit trying until he was 7.... within months he was reading chapter books!
