Oct. 10, 2005 - monday morning relaxation
Well, the weekend is finally over and we are recovering from all of the Medieval fun. The boys got to build a catapult with the scouts Saturday afternoon so that fit in nicely with our theme. We are cleaning house today and taking down all our decroations. The boys want to put most of it up in their rooms. That will do fine. I am trying to get organized for the next four and a half months. We don't plan on going back to KONOs until March, when we will begin our unit on horses. I think I am going to really focus on math, grammar, science and Bible for the next four months. At least with my oldest. With my six year old we will turn our attention to reading and more reading and just plain enjoying reading. Not phonics, at least not formal phonics instruction. But I will throw some games in there and he will hopefully be learning it without knowing it. :) I will also continue on with math with him, he loves that.
My daughter comes home from college this Wednesday for fall break. We are going to get our hair done!! I love getting my hair cut! I am also going to make a cake to celebrate her 18th birthday and a favorite meal, which I haven't decided upon as of yet. She is not bringing her own car so it will be interesting how stir-crazy she gets here without a ride. :) She isn't used to being so dependant on us for transportation.
Well, I think I need to go pay some attention to the toddlers. They hust pulled all of the toilet paper off the roll in the bathroom. YIKES!!
