Oct. 14, 2005 - Friday, No School!!

Well, no school for public schoolers, at least.  My boys think that since the public school is out they should be too.  So, I struck a bargin with them.  Do math this morning, first thing and then pick up their rooms and the play room and they are free!!  Fair??  I think so.  That's a day off for me too, I guess.  Of course, I will be preparing for the next unit study on The Tree in the Trail.   I am glad we live at the heart of the Santa Fe Trail...for that is the focus (or so it seemed at a glance) of this book.  I just love Beautiful feet study guides.  :)  We had so much fun with Paddle to the Sea.   DD ( the one from college) is going shopping this morning.  Just Target.  Hopefully she will remember to pick up our library books.  I haven't read to David is a couple of days.  Of course, he hasn't noticed. 

Well, it is off to enjoy the day.
