Dec. 22, 2005 - Co-op blues!
I am considering starting a co-op. I have always wanted to belong to one and have had no luck in finding one in my area. So, I figured I would start one myself. But how does one go about starting a co-op?? Anyone?? I would love some advice in this rather foriegn area. I do KONOs and was thinking something along the lines of KONOs related OR something to cover topics KONOs doesn't go into in depth...like science. Anyone out there ever started a co-op or are currently involvedin a successful one??

| Are you thinking about a 3-day/week co-op where the kids go to a teacher for 4 hours a day and then homeschool for the other 2, or are you referring to a one-day a week program with a choice of enrichment classes, or more along the lines of a theme-day (i.e., science one week, history the next, art the next, etc.)? Or maybe something completely different? |
