Dec. 25, 2005 - Merry Christmas!!
Wow, it's over!! I can't believe Christmas has come and went. It seems like only yesterday I was planning day trips to the zoo and wondering if I'd ever get around to planting a garden. The weather here is warm and not a bit like Christmas. We were up at the crack of dawn and everything was completely done by 8:26am!! :( That was a bit sad...a bit of a let down. The boys spent their day putting together lego creations and I sat and read. It was peaceful. We shared the Christmas story and I really think the boys got it this year!! It made my heart jump to see the light come on.
Tomorrow early my dd leaves to go visit her biological mother. :( She doesn't want to go and it makes me sad to have to send her. We have had such a good time this last week. She has been home every day and every evening. She has grown so much while away at college. Spiritually and intellectualy. I praise God for her! I praise God for my entire family. He is so good to give them to me to take care of and watch over.

....for some reason, we began "Christmas" around 7:30 this morning and we were not done until 5:00 tonight! I am not sure what happened, but it took so long today.......too many interruptions and distractions. BUT it has been a good two days with family and tonight just having the kids playing here in the living room with us as we watch a new Jeremy Camp DVD, I feel warm and happily blessed. I would have enjoyed some reading time today, though. I am a bit jealous! : )
