Jul. 18, 2005 - Hmmmmm, can I really do this
Well, thus far I have not been a very faithful blogger. It is hard for me to type to no one in particular. July is almost done and I intend on starting school in August. The boys don't seem to mind that summer is just about over. I think that is because the seasons are all special to us...not just summer for its 'no school' status. I think that is a fairly public school attitude, don't you? Who am I asking? Crazy me. :)
I am going to start KONO"s with my six year old. My oldest will stay with the traditional style, workbooks, texts, etc. He seems to like the order it provided, the structure. David, on the other hand, is NOT a book person (unless he is on your lap and you are reading it). I think KONO"s will do him good! I am curious about it though, I must say and a bit worried about my skill in being 'unstructured'.
Well, here I go, God willing, I will do well.

People do read. They will happen across your blog when you make entries because they show up on the front page or when they use the 'random blog' button. So don't think you're just putting words out there that nobody will see, because most likely somebody will!
However, don't let that make you nervous or feel like you have to write for other people. It's your blog. Write what you want. Don't worry about if anybody else will read it or not. Think of it as a record for yourself, a venting place, a place to get ideas out of your head into words that you can read back to yourself...whatever you feel you want to use it for. If you do it for yourself, you don't need to worry about how many people may or may not be reading what you write.
Find other blogs here that you like and read them. Put them on your friends list and/or leave them comments. They'll see your name there and curiosity will send them to your blog. :-) If you find something of interest or something that makes you think on another blog - or anywhere, for that matter - blog about it. Just have fun with it. You don't have to do it every day or every week...do it when *you* feel like it. There's no right or wrong way - there's just your way. :-)

Sometimes I find it hard to get on a roll with blogging and I've been at it a couple years. Maybe try setting aside a certain time of day or a certain day of the week if you only want to blog weekly. I enjoyed reading what you've written so far.
