Oh no what shall I ever do? If Jerome is actaully prince Tremain then I have faught with the prince!
Suddenly Mara jumped ten feet as someone knocked on the door.
"Mara you in there?" Oh know it is Jerome what shall I say? I need to act normal. "No, I am not in here."
"Oh good as long as you not in there can I come in?"
"If you like to you can I guess."
"Is my presence that repulsive?" Great he sounds upset.
"No, I am just tired. you may come in."
Jerome slowly opened the door and cautiously stepped in.
"Is something wrong Mara?"
"Wrong no just been thinking about someting."
"May I know what?"
"Yes you may know what." Jeromes stood waiting patiently.
After a few minutes of waiting Jerome looked down at Mara.
"What you never asked what I was thinking about... you just asked if you could know what I was thinking about."
Jerome let out a sigh and tried to hide a bit of a smile.
"Fine, what are you thinking about?"
"I was just wondering why some pompous prince (who hasn't met me) wants to marry me?"
"What makes you think he is pompous?"
Jerome was starting to look a little taken aback and confused.
"Well for starters why hasn't he even met me? He must be arrogant if he thinks himself to high and mighty to even see me."
Now Jerome laughed accidently. Then pretended to cough to cover it up.
"Well you see he has been busy meeting people watching over....things.
Mara you must understand that he can't make it to meet you officially yet."
hhhmmmm what a great way to get around the questiong with out lying.
Cause he met my Mom and Dad. He has been watching over me.
And he hasn't met me officially.
"Well then why does he want to marry me?"
"That will be answered in time Mara. Just be patient. You need to sleep now.
Good Night."
"Good night Jerome."
Jerome left and shut the door. Mara went to bed and fell quickly a sleep.
