Well, the first two weeks of school have come and gone. So far, so good. Everyone is settling into a routine and the kids all seem to like what we have chosen for curriculum this year.

We have been starting our school @ 9 AM and the younger ones are done by 12-1PM and the high schoolers have been finishing up by 3, which isn't too bad. We have a few subjects we are leaving until after fall harvest, which starts tomorrow!

The three oldest teens will be working for the farmer next door from tomorrow until mid-October. So, the rest of us will continue with math and language arts and spend some time doing day trips and fun things that we don't always have time for.

So, all in all , it looks like this year will be a good year. We are going to concentrate more on our writing and read more good literature, which I am really looking forward too. We will see how things go
