Harvest

Well today is day two of harvest for the older 3 children. Yesterday they didn't have to work until 11 AM, so that was a nice introduction for this year. They got home at 6:15 PM, tired, but glad to be back to work.

They had to be at work for 6:30 this morning and that was a bit hard because none of us went to bed before midnight. So, they were tired but they can go to bed early tonight to make up for it.

William was up a few times last night and I was up at 5 to make breakfast for the harvest workers, so today I am beat and we are just taking it easy.

We had a great evening with Don and Carla. About 10-15 people, inclduing a news paper reporter, showed up to hear her speak. I can't wait to get the paper next week! We got the church cleaned up, van packed and were home by 10:30 PM. Then we all stayed up gabbing until almost midnight.

Don made breakfast for the rest of us; blueberry pancakes and bacon! Then they headed out @ 8 or so. We will miss them, but look forward to seeing them again next year.

I learned of a new online job opening today and sent in an application. I did recieve an email that they will let me know by September 30th if I am being considered for the opening. I pray I do get the job as it is one that I had been wanting for a while.
