I haven't been able to post much the last few days. Dad has been home since Friday and when dad is home, life just gets crazy  

The older kids have't worked for two days due to the rain so we have been hanging out and doing some much needed chores around the house. We got our garden shed built finally and got the garage cleaned out! Now I can park in the garage again.

The older three boys had CAP ( Civil Air Patrol) last night and all three will be testing at the next meeting and soon will be promoted. We have been very happy with CAP.  At first,  we had some issues with communication but after speaking with the commander and ironing things out, we have been very pleased with the program.

So,  I am not sure what the plans for today are.  The kids have to work at 11:30 this morning and I work at 3 today,  so will probably just hang out a bit, maybe get some lesson planning done. After lunch, I am going to start reading " Little Pilgrim's Progress" by Helen Taylor

I am looking forward to starting this book as I have never read Pilgrim's Progress! I tried once, when I was a baby christian and just couldn't get through it. So, I am planning on tackling the adult version once I am through this one with the childrens.
