Here is a picture of my three oldest boys, Richard (15), Daniel (14) and Michael (12) as they get ready for a Civil Air Patrol meeting.

The older kids have two more days of work and harvest will be over. They are tired but glad they were able to work again this year. We are taking the rest of the week off and will restart school on the 17th.

I am really looking forward to harvest being over! Its going to be really nice to not have to be up by 5AM cooking breakfast! Of course, since they are used to getting up at 5, the kids will probably have us up anyhow.

Melissa (16) and Ricky (15) are taking an online writing course via www.home2teach.com and emailed in their first (pre)assignment today. Eileen seems very nice and they are looking forward to the class.

The younger ones and I are almost finished our current read alouds and I am unsure what we will tackle next. We head to the library on Friday, so I will pick something then.
