More Christmas gifts

 

Spent some time today with Melisssa, sewing some more Christmas gifts. First, we finished making the military themed fleece tie blankets for dad and the oldest 3 boys

 

This first picture is the Army (dad's) and Navy (Mike's 12) :

 

 

Next, is The Air Force (Ricky's 15) and Marines (Danny's 14):

 

 

Then I had some John Deere material that was too small for a blanket. Alisha (11) loves JD and has a collection of die cast JD trucks. So, I made her a pillow case in the same style as the fleece style blankets. Here is is:

Next, we worked on hats. I only finished one today and gave it to Melissa because she liked it. This was the first time I made hats and this one came out a bit too big, but it was a lot of fun and super easy! Here is the hat:

Hopefully, I will get to work on hats for the everyone else next week while we break for Thanskgiving.

I purchased them premade last year in various colors and have embroidered names on them for neices and nephews.
