Quiver's House

November 30, 2005
Hi Ho, Hi Ho, Its off to work I go

Melissa got the job at the grocery store! She starts tomorrow, which was a suprise. She is so excited and has been walking on cloud 9 all afternoon. I, of course, have been teary eyed. She growing up so fast it seems. She turns 17 next month. Just one short year left before she is an adult  Its bittersweet to see the woman she is becoming, but to be losing my baby at the same time. Ahhhh, time marches on.

As I sit here on the eve of my sons 18th birthday, Feeling teary eyed to say the least I think of all of them when they were little! How time passes by without much of a warning!

I miss the days when they asked why, needed you to tie shoes, but the thing i miss the most is them needing me to tuck them into bed at night.

I have moved on from all of the above to graduation, college, and life on his own. The Sr picture that hangs on the wall next to the ones of him when he was my little man tell me that I have not miss placed the memories of him when he was my baby but I have to let him become the man he strived to be.
Happy Birthday Melissa! You have turned in to a wonderful young women.
God Bless
Rhonda
