24 days and counting

I can't believe today is December 1st! The smaller kids are so excited for Christmas to be coming. They marked off the days on the big wall calandar and wrote on the white board "24 more days". I will be wrapping presents Saturday and buying stocking stuffers and I am done that part! We are also getting the tree and putting it up in the afternoon. I am looking forward to seeing William's face as he sees the tree!

We have a cookie exchange to bake for and a small party with our homeschool group. I am not sure what we are doing for our neighbors yet, but I am thinking gingerbread men. Melissa mentioned carmel corn, maybe we will do both.

On Christmas Eve we have cocoa and Rick (hubby) reads the Christmas story and then on Christmas Day we have a birthday cake for Jesus, complete with candles and all! I just love the whole Christmas season! :-)

I'd love to hear of your family's traditions for Christmas.

PS: Melissa had a great day at work and really likes the job. She met alot of people and said everyone was very friendly. She will find out tomorrow what her schedule will be from now on.
