William woke up at 2 AM soaking wet, of course. I grab him and nurse on one side while contemplating just putting him back in bed wet or changing him and praying he doesn't fully wake.

Will is one of those babies that once he wakes it takes hours to get back to sleep. A typical night has me rocking him from 2-4 AM.

So guilt over takes and I place him in my bed, where he rolls over and goes back to sleep, and I run and grab a diaper. I gingerly underess him and get the diaper on as he starts to squirm. Drat no tab! So, I run again for another diaper, get it on and rippp; off comes the tab. One more run to get a diaper. Start to put it on and unbelievable the tab rips again! I have hubby hold the now screaming and naked baby and run down the hall to my desk. Come back and duct tape on the diaper.

Hubby is laughing as I sit there once again nursing William wondering why on Earth I stopped using cloth?

I had to laugh in reading your blog. I have recently discovers the joys of duct tape. It fixes very used mattresses, torn chairs, and just about everything else. My nephew made a pair of shoes out of it and wore them to school. That stuff is amazing!
