We will have a class at the Nature Institute in Godfrey on Wednesday, February 18th: Winter on the Preserve, which will cover topics such as Winter Ecology, Syrup Tapping & Animal Winter Homes. The classes usually include a lesson, craft & outdoor observations, so make sure to bring coats, gloves, etc. The class is scheduled for 9:30 - 11:30; everyone is invited to bring a lunch and stay longer to explore. The cost is $2.50 per child - no charge for adults.
If you think you'll be going on this field trip, please let me know by Feb. 6th or at the February meeting. A RSVP is not required to attend, but I would like to give her a general idea of how many will be coming.
