I have been tagged by EEEMommy and this is my second attempt to post this.  I wrote a wonderful list of 8 things and posted it and it has since disappeared.  So I will try again.  So that is why if I told you about this and you can't find it that you couldn't find it.

Anyway on to other things.

1.  I used to work as a Visiting Nurse in the ghetto of Philadelphia.  I spent 15 years doing this part time and full time and I loved it.  As far as a job goes it was a great one. I had some great patients and made some friends in that time.  I never was in any danger that I knew of, but it was quite an eye opener for a farm girl from the country. 

2.  I wear a size 9 shoe and am 5 foot 9 inches tall.  I have always been glad about my height.  And my dh is taller which I am glad for. He is 6 foot 1 inch.

3.  I met my dh at WEstminster Seminary.  We were both students.  I got an MDiv. degree and he got a certificate.  Neither of us intended to become pastors, for different reasons.  I don't really think women should be pastors so never was pursuing that for myself.  I wanted to study in order to learn to think more conceptually and in order to learn to teach the Bible more clearly.  Both goals were accomplished and I gained a husband in the process as well.  Not bad.

4.  Two of my favorite book series are The Chronicles of NArnia and THe Lord of the Rings.  I have read them both multiple times.

5.  I have been to the Great Wall of CHina.  In 1986 I went to China for 3 weeks with several friends, including one Chinese student.  We traveled all over but the Great Wall was a highlight.

6.  I love food.  I like to cook, grocery shop, eat, harvest from the graden and I don't even mind cleaning up too much.  But I don't like cleaning in general.  I always try to avoid doing that if possible.

7.  I am my husband's accountant.  I handle all the money details for our family and our businesses, so that combined with homeschooling keeps me quite busy.  I really enjoy it most of the time.  I like numbers because unlike people they always obey the rules.

8.  My middle name is Lynn.

So there you have it.  And I am tagging cyndiegirl72.  And anyone else who wants to do this.

Okay, yours are better, but it is a look into my life a little. It is those little quirks that make me....well, me. Anyway, keep the prayers coming, things are going great so far.

This is a very interesting post. You've had a lot of very interesting experiences. I would love to go to seminary for the same reasons you listed! I didn't realize that you met your husband there. I'm also in agreement with you about numbers. I always loved accounting!

BTW, my feet are half a size bigger and I'm 1 1/2 inches shorter. Hmm! Not fair! :)

I REALLY enjoyed this list. You are sooooo interesting my SSiC. I am only 5' 5" and a half. I always wanted to be 5' 7". That is soooooooo neat you got to be ON the Great Wall of China. I finished my meme of 8 and 7 plus there is a reverse tag too. (0= I hope you are having a blessed day.
