Jun. 25, 2009 Stuff Happening All Around
Hi!
I just made up this fantastic recipe. I am sitting here drinking it, and my famiily tried it and they really like it!!!
Here it is.........
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar (you can do more or less occording to your taste)
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Take it all and put it into a blender. Blend for half a minute. Then serve over crushed ice, and put a sprinkling of cinnamon on top (cinnamon is optional)
I thought it was pretty good. By the way, the name of the recipe is Vanilla Cool-Off.
Did I mention that our goat had twins?? I am pretty sure I did. Anyway, there names are Peaches and Lilac.
The last week of July they are having a Vacation Bible School, known as VBS. I am too old to go. I am going to help out with the snack time and crafts. I was very dissapointed that I couldn't go. But I like helping, so I'll just stick with that. Sometimes I wish I was still a little kid! LOL
Don't forget to leave a comment!!
Also, I will accept all friend requests, depending on if I like your blog.

Hi! Yesterday we went to my Grandma's house. She is a artist, so she invited me and my little sister Bekah to accompany her. First we went to the Grove City Park. We went into one of the many pavilions, and set up camp. There was a lot of painting supplies. Grandma taught us different tips and tricks. After a while, we went to Grandma's house, and made hamburgers, patotoes, and eggs. Afterwards, we went on the porch and painted. Grandma does watercolor, and I made three pictures. The first is a candlestick and vase on a little table. It is done in a pinkish red color. The second shows a big hill set against a blue sky. On the top of the hill sits a house, and three trees, swaying in the breeze. The third is a barn, with posies all around. I must say, I am very proud of them. I only had one lesson, and the paintings I did are nice.
Now I am done bragging. Our goat had twins!! Their names are Lilac and Peaches. One is white and black, the other is brown and black. We have the grandmother of the twins. Peaches looks like her grandmother, and Lilac looks like her mom. They try to frolic around, it is so cute!
Bye Bye!!!

Hello!!! (I always say that at the begginning), okay, um.....
What's Up?
That was better. I got 6 chickens. They are black and white with poofy heads, and they have a extra toe on each foot. I call them my Kippy's. Dad was helping me build a chicken coop. It needs a floor, and shingles. I can't wait till it is finished!!! Does anybody live in Pittsburgh, Mercer, or Grove City, Slippery Rock area in Pensylvania? I live real close to them all. So maybe I know you!!! If you ever hear of Savannah Powell, and you live in one of those areas, thats me!!!
Our goat, Tammy, is pregnant, and she was due June 4th, but she still hasn't birthed yet. I think she is holding it in.
There are little chicks and chickens everywhere!!! We probably have 100 chicks. We have some cool chickens too. This morning the baby pheasants hatched, and the partridges. They both look the same, and we don't know which are which!!!! When they get older we will eventually figure it out.
Did anyone watch the Narnia movie, Prince Caspian? I thought it was a good movie, other than I'm not hot on the fighting parts.
If you would like to be on my friends list, just leave a comment and I will check your blog out!!!
See you later!!!

I got Chickens!!!! YAY!!! They are really cool. I have only two right now, and I will be getting more soon. They are black and white, and their heads are covered in white fluff, and in the middle, there is a black spot. The male is Kip, and the female is Lawfundah. Did you ever watch Napoleon Dynamite? It is a really funny movie. It is also really stupid. I have the blinkie for it after my friends list. Anyway, I named my chickens after Napoleons' brother, and his brother's girlfriend.
I really need to get working on my coop.
Next Sunday at the church we go to, there is going to be a fun day, where they are going to ride horses, and stuff. I will NOT be riding the horses. I like horses, but I don't really feel like riding one. I am not scared, because my family used to own a few. We got rid of them. We had about five.
My cousins might come for a sleep over on Saturday. MAYBE!!!!

It is a beautiful day outside. 51 baby chicks are running around outside. The trees are swaying to a gentle breeze. Lawnmowers are humming there never changing tune. Turkeys are squabling. Chickens are pecking the ground. Fresh green grass is poking up everywhere. Atleast, that is how it is here. For now. It is after lunch and I finished everything for the day. I washed the dishes too.
I am trying to build a chicken coop. It is made out of scrap wood. I have the four corners, and part of the foundation made, and my brother Jake, is helping me use the hammer. I plan on getting chickens.
Mom milked our goats. We only are milking the one goat, because the other one is pregnant and will be giving birth in the beggining of June.
Bye!!!

Guess what? We have baby chicks!!! They hatched 2 days ago. They are SO cute! Then, today, my Dad was in the woods cutting wood when three bunnies ran out! He almost chopped off the one's head!!! Anyway, we have a huge container with two bunnies (we couldn't catch the third), and 10 chicks. And, what's funny, is the bunny's are babies!!!
We have been having a garage sale every Saturday. My brother Jacob and I have been taking care of it. I like yard sales!

Mar. 26, 2009 I AM CRAZY (Not Really but everybody thinks my family is)
We have been back from vacation for a long time. I have been learning a lot of weird stuff lately. I'll tell you what they are. If you have read my Mom's blog (babymakers) then you probably already know these.
1. Lot's of musical groups do NOT sit and write their songs. They even admit that they just sit down and a music with words play in their heads. REALLY WEIRD!!! And all these groups have been involved in Satan worship. These groups are............
Rolling Stones, Madonna, Beatles, AC/DC, Eminem, and so many more!!!
2. Many of our world leaders get together every four years and discuss plans to take over the world. This group is called the Builderberg Group. If you don't believe me, look it up online. These leaders are........
Queen Elizabeth, previous presidents and the current, and many more rulers.
Okay, you think I am crazy. Well, I DON'T CARE!!!! You can think I am crazy. But, as my parents say,
"Have you researched it?" Of course, I have only watched movies on this stuff. But, it still counts.
Anyway, to get to more exciting stuff,
My Mom had a birthday today!! Happy Birthday Mom!!!
We made Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes. They were so good!
By the way, did anybody watch the movie called Home Alone? That is a very funny movie.

Hi!!! I'm BACK!!!! Ahem. The reason I haven't been writing is because Mom's laptop broke and then they had to get it fixed and Grandpa brought over a different one!!!! It's a long story. My brother going to his grandparents house, so I will probably just read or something. Mom is making dinner. GUESS WHAT!!!! Me and my family are going to Mexico for vacation!!!! YAY!!! We will be there for a few weeks on the beach. White sand, clear blue water, a ocean sunset, 75 degrees everyday, I am imagining myself in a sunchair sipping a pina coloda. WOW!!! We will have so much fun!! I can't wait. Everything there is REALLY cheap to. Our Grandpa, my Mom's dad, will go with us. He said when he was a kid, he used to catch stingrays and nursing sharks. He has proof. We will be swimming, shopping, swimming, fishing, swimming, and, did I mention swimming? LOL Well, I'll see you later!

P.S. I will try to write before we leave for Mexico. |

Hello!! What's up? I have been doing a lot of stuff lately. Yesterday, my sisters and I, cleaned out this room in the garage. The room we cleaned out has a bathroom, and a carpet with a cot in it. So, we put the heater in it, and then we slept in there!!!! It was fun! Here is the Funky Fact from Monday.
Did you know that a general in the army, got very high fevers and found out that by walking out in the river in winter, would stop the fevers.
That was interesting, I thought.
I have been listing stuff on Ebay for Mom. It is a place where you can put stuff for sale.
See you later!

Nov. 3, 2008 Fact of the Week
I think me changing the Funky Fact to Monday works really well. Here is your Funky Fact.
Peter the Great of Russia, made his craftsman make a statue of what he would look like 100 yrs. after his death!!!
That is kinda weird. Anyway, we went to our weekly auction this Saturday. We got some cool stuff, like, I got this cool hat, the little ones got some too, and this flashlight keychain, and we got a CD player!! My Granny gave me some tapes, they are South Pacific, The King and I, The Phantom of the Opera, and Oklahoma!. They are really good. I am reading a book called Eleanor of Aquitaine. It is a great book!!!! We are also reading Enoch Roden's Training. Mom made some hot bread, so I am going to go eat!

Oct. 27, 2008 Posting Again
Okay, I have decided to change my Funky Fact day to Monday. These Saturdays just aren't working for me!!! Here was Saturday's Funky Fact.
Jessie Ugarte fulfilling a promise to eat the meal of every guest that failed to attend his friends wedding at Lodosa, Spain, ate 9 meals including soup, vegetables, meat and chicken, ate 20 rolls, and drank 36 cups chocolate and 6 quarts of coffee in 1921. Bet he had a stomach ache!!!!
That was a weird fact! We have been going to a lot of auctions lately on Fridays and Saturdays so that is why I wanted to change it. We went to Ambassador Church on Sunday. I haven't been there for a while!!!! I really enjoyed it.
Must Go!!!!!

Then yesterday, the girls and I played with a whole bunch of church clothes I never wear and put on powder and fake makeup and it was really fun!!! I am never to old to play dressup. I'm going to go!!!!

P.S. Here is the Funky Fact I was supossed to do on Saturday:
Papuan Cannibals widows must wear the skull and thigh bones of their dead husbands for life. They also must cut off their finger bones at the first joint.

What a busy week! By the way, sorry I didn't post my Funky Fact of the week on Saturday. We were really busy this week. All this week we were horseback riding at my grandma's house. Then on Saturday, we went to the HorseBack Riding event. It was so much fun! (Except for waiting for our turn.) I got fifth place for the Barrels, which is when you go around these barrels in a triangle shape. We also did Poles, and Keyhole. I think the one that was most fun was the Crepe Paper contest. What you did was you have a piece of crepe paper between you and your partner, then you got on your horse and went down to the end of the Arena, went around the barrel with your partner on the other side of you with the crepe paper between you, and then you had to go back to the gate! And you had to do all that without it ripping!!!!! It was fun. And I was riding Rose, while Granny was on Chico, and on the way back the horses went into a gallop! When all that was over, Jacob (my brother), and I went to Granny's house, put the horses away, and then we went to our house. That night we had my birthday! I got a beautiful dress that is decorated with diamonds and sequins, a Pirates of the Carribean camera, a pair of hoop earrings with butterfly's and dangles in the middle, and I got three Tinkerbell, Spiderman, and Hello Kitty keychains, a beautiful porcelain piece of a girl on a merry-go-round horse, and it made music while it goes up and down! It is VERY pretty. I also got a book about Indian legends. I had such a cool birthday!!! I will post pictures soon. And then Sunday, we went to church in the morning, then a little bit after we got home we went to Grandma Gina's birthday suprise birthday party. My cousins were there and some people I don't know. It was fun. And, I think that is about all we did this week.
See you later!!!
Rabbitlover
P.S. Here is the Funky Fact of the week!
2. Did you know that....................
In Africa, the witch doctors stretch out there ear lobes so long that a child can go thru them? They believe that it protects the child from demons and devils. Hope you enjoyed this gross fact!!!! |
