Busy Week
What a busy week! By the way, sorry I didn't post my Funky Fact of the week on Saturday. We were really busy this week. All this week we were horseback riding at my grandma's house. Then on Saturday, we went to the HorseBack Riding event. It was so much fun! (Except for waiting for our turn.) I got fifth place for the Barrels, which is when you go around these barrels in a triangle shape. We also did Poles, and Keyhole. I think the one that was most fun was the Crepe Paper contest. What you did was you have a piece of crepe paper between you and your partner, then you got on your horse and went down to the end of the Arena, went around the barrel with your partner on the other side of you with the crepe paper between you, and then you had to go back to the gate! And you had to do all that without it ripping!!!!! It was fun. And I was riding Rose, while Granny was on Chico, and on the way back the horses went into a gallop! When all that was over, Jacob (my brother), and I went to Granny's house, put the horses away, and then we went to our house. That night we had my birthday! I got a beautiful dress that is decorated with diamonds and sequins, a Pirates of the Carribean camera, a pair of hoop earrings with butterfly's and dangles in the middle, and I got three Tinkerbell, Spiderman, and Hello Kitty keychains, a beautiful porcelain piece of a girl on a merry-go-round horse, and it made music while it goes up and down! It is VERY pretty. I also got a book about Indian legends. I had such a cool birthday!!! I will post pictures soon. And then Sunday, we went to church in the morning, then a little bit after we got home we went to Grandma Gina's birthday suprise birthday party. My cousins were there and some people I don't know. It was fun. And, I think that is about all we did this week.
See you later!!!

In Africa, the witch doctors stretch out there ear lobes so long that a child can go thru them? They believe that it protects the child from demons and devils. Hope you enjoyed this gross fact!!!! |
