Stuff

Hello!! What's up? I have been doing a lot of stuff lately. Yesterday, my sisters and I, cleaned out this room in the garage. The room we cleaned out has a bathroom, and a carpet with a cot in it. So, we put the heater in it, and then we slept in there!!!! It was fun! Here is the Funky Fact from Monday.

Did you know that a general in the army, got very high fevers and found out that by walking out in the river in winter, would stop the fevers.

That was interesting, I thought.

I have been listing stuff on Ebay for Mom. It is a place where you can put stuff for sale.

See you later!

Fact of the Week

I think me changing the Funky Fact to Monday works really well. Here is your Funky Fact.

Peter the Great of Russia, made his craftsman make a statue of what he would look like 100 yrs. after his death!!!

That is kinda weird. Anyway, we went to our weekly auction this Saturday. We got some cool stuff, like, I got this cool hat, the little ones got some too, and this flashlight keychain, and we got a CD player!! My Granny gave me some tapes, they are South Pacific, The King and I, The Phantom of the Opera, and Oklahoma!. They are really good. I am reading a book called Eleanor of Aquitaine. It is a great book!!!! We are also reading Enoch Roden's Training. Mom made some hot bread, so I am going to go eat!

Posting Again

Okay, I have decided to change my Funky Fact day to Monday. These Saturdays just aren't working for me!!! Here was Saturday's Funky Fact.

Jessie Ugarte fulfilling a promise to eat the meal of every guest that failed to attend his friends wedding at Lodosa, Spain, ate 9 meals including soup, vegetables, meat and chicken, ate 20 rolls, and drank 36 cups chocolate and 6 quarts of coffee in 1921. Bet he had a stomach ache!!!!

That was a weird fact! We have been going to a lot of auctions lately on Fridays and Saturdays so that is why I wanted to change it. We went to Ambassador Church on Sunday. I haven't been there for a while!!!! I really enjoyed it.

Must Go!!!!!

Then yesterday, the girls and I played with a whole bunch of church clothes I never wear and put on powder and fake makeup and it was really fun!!! I am never to old to play dressup. I'm going to go!!!!

P.S. Here is the Funky Fact I was supossed  to do on Saturday:

Papuan Cannibals widows must wear the skull and thigh bones of their dead husbands for life. They also must cut off their finger bones at the first joint.

GROSS!!!!

Mix first 4 ingredients, fold into cool whip. Put in your unorganic pie crust, and freeze.

Busy Week

What a busy week! By the way, sorry I didn't post my Funky Fact of the week on Saturday. We were really busy this week. All this week we were horseback riding at my grandma's house. Then on Saturday, we went to the HorseBack Riding event. It was so much fun! (Except for waiting for our turn.) I got fifth place for the Barrels, which is when you go around these barrels in a triangle shape. We also did Poles, and Keyhole. I think the one that was most fun was the Crepe Paper contest. What you did was you have a piece of crepe paper between you and your partner, then you got on your horse and went down to the end of the Arena, went around the barrel with your partner on the other side of you with the crepe paper between you, and then you had to go back to the gate! And you had to do all that without it ripping!!!!! It was fun. And I was riding Rose, while Granny was on Chico, and on the way back the horses went into a gallop! When all that was over, Jacob (my brother), and I went to Granny's house, put the horses away, and then we went to our house. That night we had my birthday! I got a beautiful dress that is decorated with diamonds and sequins, a Pirates of the Carribean camera, a pair of hoop earrings with butterfly's and dangles in the middle, and I got three Tinkerbell, Spiderman, and Hello Kitty keychains, a beautiful porcelain piece of a girl on a merry-go-round horse, and it made music while it goes up and down! It is VERY pretty. I also got a book about Indian legends. I had such a cool birthday!!! I will post pictures soon. And then Sunday, we went to church in the morning, then a little bit after we got home we went to Grandma Gina's birthday suprise birthday party. My cousins were there and some people I don't know. It was fun.  And, I think that is about all we did this week.

See you later!!!

In Africa, the witch doctors stretch out there ear lobes so long that a child can go thru them? They believe that it protects the child from demons and devils.  Hope you enjoyed this gross fact!!!!

Fall, Cleaning, and My New Trend!

FALL IS HERE!!!!!! I like fall because of the beautiful colors on the trees. I like to sweep leaves off the deck too  (at least the first few times!) I really like to clean. Except I don't like to clean my own room,LOL. My favorite room too clean are the living room. I like to sweep, dust, and pick up toys. I don't really make a list or anything, I just see that there is a mess in the living room, the playroom, or the kitchen, and I clean it up. Right now in the living room there is a stack of old girls clothes to be taken to the Salvation Army, that room needs swept, and dusted also, so when I am done with this entry I am going to clean it. I think the room that gets the messiest is the playroom. The little ones are always playing in that room, and if you have three little kids in a room full of stuff to play with, it tends to get pretty messy!!! I like to clean. In fact, I LOVE to clean!!!!!!!! I forgot to mention that I am doing something new! Every  Saturday I am going to put a really cool fact from my book called Ripley's Believe it or Not. So, hear is Trendy  Saturday's fact!

 1. Did you know that when King Wianghe of Shan, died, his entire nation committed suicide!!!!! 75,000 families took their own lives in sorrow.

Now, isn't that a really cool fact? So, every Trendy Saturday, come see what cool fact I have up!

Things

What's going on with everyone? I am reading a book called Enoch's Training. It is really good. It is a Lamplighter book. I really like Lamplighter books. Last night there was a really big storm last night. The lights went out when Mom was making me a omelet and then the electricity went out and I ended up eating a tomato sandwich, but I really like tomato sandwiches so I was fine. My Mom found a mouse nest in the woods, and the Mom had run away, and there were two baby mice in it!!!!! She gave them to us and I have been feeding them milk every 1-2 hours. Last night I had to get up twice to feed them.  They are really cute! I am hoping that they will live! Our horse Ranger died. He was a quarter horse. Now we have Marylegs, which she is a pony.. I will post some pictures of our new pet bird Pico soon!  Well, lunch is waiting!

Bye for now!

What I Have Been Doing

Hi everyone!!!! We have been real busy lately! Adah Mae ( my little sister ) had a birthday party. Our friends came over and we played in our swimming pool and jumped on our big trampoline. It was pretty fun! Then we went to Kennywood. My cousins came with us and we rode a lot of stuff, like the pirate ship
( a ride that goes almost upside down!)  and roller coasters and stuff. We had fun there too!  We are going to get this bird called a Conure that likes to go on bike rides, take showers and scream unless someone lets him ride on there shoulders. They are kinda like a parrot but smaller and green. It is going to be fun to play with!!!! My birthday is in a month. I am going to be twelve years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want a Pirates of the Carribean theme for my party. I would like it to be a pool / slumber party depending on how warm it is for the pool. Pirates of the Carribean is my favorite movie.  What I want for my birthday is : Pirates of the Carribean 1,2, or 3, Pirates  of the Carribean camera, clothes, notebooks, pens, Royal Diaries books, and sewing stuff. Today Mom and Dad gave me my first present, which is a $100 sewing machine!!!! Well, bye for now!!

July Updates

Sorry I have not been writing lately. Well, I will tell you what has been going on lately.

They had a Summer Reading Program at the library. Bekah, Jake and I did the program. Whoever read the most books got a big prize. Guess who won? ME!!!!! They had a raffle and me and Bekah got prizes and so did other kids. I got a spy kit with a Atlas, BIG spyglass, (you can't forget the food!!) a mouse book, 2 packs of crackers, and 2 lollipops. I read 85 books!!! Becca read 35, and Jacob wasn't there for the rest of the program and I will tell you why.

Jacob left for New Jersey about a week ago. I miss him. I can't wait for him to come home!!! He comes home in about 2 weeks.

I am babysitting Miss Danielle's guinea pigs. To tell the truth, they are really fat!!!!!!

We got 2 iguanas. Iguanas get to be about 6 and half feet long. We got babies. They were little. First Fluffy died (the first iguana), then Spike (2nd Iguana) died a few days after.

Are goat went wild. If you want to know more go to here.

That it for now, folks!!!!!

May. 2, 2007

Hello! Monday was Jacob's birthday!!! He turned 9!!! Do you know what he got for his birthday? Give up? I will tell you. He got a bow and arrows!!! He also got a target to practice. My Mommy made his birthday cake. It was an ice cream cake. It said Happy Birthday Jacob on it. It was really good!!! And I got him a cowboy hat. He loved his birthday. I think most of it was that he didn't have to help clean up and he didn't have to do his chores and babysit his baby brother. LOL Although, I didn't watch him shoot his arrows. I decided to go inside and read Anne of Greene Gables. Here are some pictures of him on his birthday. Oh, and don't forget to go to his blog and tell him happy birthday. Here is his link. www.homeschoolblogger.com/birdbrain
Here are the pictures.

This is him and his birthday cake.

Here is Jacob and his arrows.

This is his target and his arrows that he shot.

This is a good picture.

This is him in the cowboy hat I got him.

This is a picture of his bow.

And this is another picture of him.

Thank you for reading this post!!! If you would like to read more about his birthday go to My Mommy's blog at www.homeschoolblogger.com/Babybeemakers

We went to the Orthodontist and after that we went to the restaurant! I got a Boca burger (veggie burger) and a chocolate icecream cone.
