Today little white things came down from the sky! I was just watching it from the window, when Mommy and Auntie Rebekah picked me up and took me outside to see them! It stuck to my fur, and was really cold. It was pretty, though. I have a small memory of it doing that last year, except last year it covered the whole ground. The white things, (Humans call them “snow. What an odd name.) didn’t fall for very long. Oddly enough, Mommy (her real name is Rachel-I just have to call her “Mommy) seemed upset that it didn’t stick to the ground like last year.
I’m dreadfully sorry, but I just had to drink eight sips of milk today. The humans said that the milk was turning sour, and I just couldn’t let this that happen. I managed to chew my food twenty times again, though I was starving. I miss Madam De Louie teaching me, and I’m mad that we had to move to Virginia and leave her behind in Connecticut. I can still remember having weekly lessons every Saturday while the family was out, and her saying; “Daisy, sit up straight, mind your manners, and don’t ever, ever let any cat find your weak spot”. I can also hear her say; “Daisy, you must always be perfect. Perfection is the key to heaven.” She was such a good teacher. I had better not say any more, I am starting to feel sad.
So...today is Thursday. Nothing very interesting to write about, except that I went to Caring for Creatures again today, and did the usual. Playing. Drying dishes. Trying to stop the kittens from ruining the whole building. Ya know. The usual.
So, how have days been for y'all? Oh, by the way, SEVEN DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING!
Look at the bottom where Brambleclaw and the Christmas gifts are. You will find a surprise!
Cheerio!
Rachel
Okay, this is just a quick entry. I am just writing because I wanted to note that Mom has put a zillion pictures up, and she has now named it the "family wall." It has pictures of Great Grandma and Grandpa, Grandma and Grandpa, Nana and Papa, Mom, Dad, Sarah, Rebekah, Tom-Tom, Aunt Sherry, Uncle Scott, Casandra & Skyler, and some other people who I probably don't know. (shrug).
Other then that, I can't think of anything else to say. Oh, Mom got a new lamp to put behind Rosie's chair, uh, Moms chair. We need a little bit of light in that room. Well, 'by.
Cheerio!
Rachel
Today we did some schoolwork, as always, and I started to take down the stuff on the windows and put some other stuff back on.
Then I got a good look at the house.
Bags everywhere, books everywhere, shoes everywhere...even my room, which is NEVER messy, is messy the week before Thanksgiving! I really enjoy having guests for Thanksgiving, but all this cleaning, and cleaning, and cleaning!
So, how is everyone's week-before-Thanksgiving going? I have to clean my bottom bunk bed, my top bunk bed, my closet, my floor, and everything else. Why can't the rooms just clean themselves?
By the way, I am going to stop doing animals diary's come December. I will start up again in January, because I have something in mind that I can do in December. It may not work, but it might.
Cheerio!
Rachel

deer molly,

Skinner rappeled off the rock to where the tigers lifeless body lay. With his boot, he prodded the animals stomach, and took a black wooden box out of his pack. Inside it lay the instruments of the fur trade. picking up a long, slender knife, Skinner began his grim work. he had to work quickly, for he was not in the wild. Skinner had killed an inhabitant of the London Zoo, and it was only a matter of time before its keepers arrived.
In a London bedroom, on a quiet residential street, an alarm clock was rining loudly. the man in the bed slept through it, as did the Dalmation on the floor. The old windup clock continued to ring until it tumbled off the edge of the nightstand, bumbed the dogs head, and landed on the floor with a thud. The ringing stopped.
thats all! byby!

I was looking through My friends and deleting those who haven't written in a year, when I found justaname's blog. I saw this really sad poem that i had to post, so here it is. Get a box of tissues ready, all you emotional peoples out there.
Mommy.. Johnny brought a gun to school,
He told his friends that it was cool,
And when he pulled the trigger back,
It shot with a great crack.
Mommy, I was a good girl, I did What I was told,
I went to school, I got straight A's, I even got the gold!
But Mommy, when I went to school that day,
I never said good-bye,
I'm sorry Mommy, I had to go, But Mommy, please don't cry.
When Johnny shot the gun, He hit me and another,
And all because Johnny, Got the gun from his older brother.
Mommy, please tell Daddy; That I love him very much,
And please tell Zack; my boyfriend; That it wasn't just a crush.
And tell my little sister; That she is the only one now,
And tell my dear sweet grandmother; I'll be waiting for her now,
And tell my wonderful friends; That they always were the best;
Mommy, I'm not the first, I'm no better than the rest.
Mommy, tell my teachers; I won't show up for class,
And never to forget this, And please don't let this pass.
Mommy, why'd it have to be me? No one deserves this,
Mommy, warn the others, Mommy I left without a kiss.
And Mommy tell the doctors; I know they really did try,
I think I even saw a doctor, Trying not to cry.
Mommy, I'm slowly dying, With a bullet in my chest,
But Mommy please remember, I'm in heaven with the rest.
Mommy I ran as fast as I could,
When I heard that crack, Mommy, listen to me if you would,
I wanted to go to college, I wanted to try things that were new,
I guess I'm not going with Daddy, On that trip to the new zoo.
I wanted to get married, I wanted to have a kid,
I wanted to be an actress, Mommy, I wanted to live.
But Mommy I must go now, The time is getting late,
Mommy, tell my Zack, I'm sorry but I had to cancel the date.
I love you Mommy, I always have, I know; you know it's true,
And Mommy all I say is, "Mommy, I love you."
****In Memory of The Columbine & Virginia Tech Students Who Were Lost****
Please if you would,
Don't smash this on the ground.
If you pass this on,
Maybe people will cry,
Just keep this in your heart,
For the people who didn't get to say "Good-bye".
Isn't it so sad? I just figured I should put this on here.

Thanksgiving complaints and a Sunday school project.
Mayday! Mayday! And I don't mean the day in May. I mean that we only have EIGHT days until family comes, and ELEVEN days until Thanksgiving! NINETEEN days in TOTAL!!!!!!!!!
Okay, so I'm done complaining about how fast the months have gone by. Today I went to Sunday school, and it was parent day. All the parents came, and we did a special project. We are learning about Israel, so we split into groups and made a poster of the place we were making a poster of. My group (Mom, Dad, Avery, Me) made a poster of the Negev and Eilat. Actually, it wasn't just a poster. It was:
1: A poster
2: A skit
3: A song
4: A list of the places you will go to in three days.
Avery (my friend from CBI) and Mom worked on cutting pictures out to put on our poster. Dad made a list of the things we would do, and I started the song, since I like writing poems. After I finally worked out the song about Negev and Eilat (to the tune of "Twinkle, twinkle little star), I helped them cut out things for it. And, after we had the poster, the list, and the song, we realized that we didn't have a skit. Just as time ran out, we couldn't think of anything so we decided to just pretend we are lying in the Dead Sea. Fortunatly, when it was our turn to give the presentation, we didn't have enough time for a skit.
Oh, today is Sunday, isn't it? Well, its Johnny's turn to write now, so, here it is!!!! Its down there

Dasee chased me again. She seemd al hapy abowt it, and that was meen. I purrtended that I waz jouyas Johnny again, and I defetd her. Wel, bi.
So, did everyone have a good rainy Thursday? Of course, it wasn't raining everywhere, but, did everyone have a good Thursday?
Today things seem to be going crazy. Rebekah and I are working out our chore schedule for the house, I am trying to get my room done because it needs to be clean in a little more then a week, and the animals don't know what is going on. Everyone is in a bad mood, the house is sparkling clean in some places, and messy, messy, messy in others, and we all can't WAIT until this is over. A typical week before Thanksgiving.
So, what have y'all been doing? Are you having some one over for Thanksgiving, or are you going to some ones house? We are having a full house for Thanksgiving: 13 people! I am sure you have seen Rebekah's blog and have been warned by her that if thirteen sit at the table, the first to rise will be the first to die. Very optimistic, she is!
Rosie has made Mom's chair that is in the music room hers. She now sits comfortably in the chair, snuggling up against a blanket. Lucky dog. She doesn't have to do schoolwork, or chores. No, she gets to relax while the rest of us are working our heads off. Animals get it so easy.
Now Mom is running around the house looking for a glass cleaner or something. Everyone is frantically looking for something around here. About an hour ago, Rebekah and I were looking for our History book, which we thought for a scary moment was lost. Finally, I was running to tell Rebekah that it was hopeless and Mom would kill us, and Rebekah was running to tell me that she found it, and we could do history now, when we practically slammed into each other! Sarah (who had been walking into the kitchen and had almost been slammed into to) had no idea why we were laughing so hard. And now, a post from Daisy:
November 14, 2008
Dear Diary,
I was able to chase Johnny away from the food dishes again. That will show him next time not to mess with me!
I drank four sips of milk today, chewed my kibble twenty times, and hopped daintily onto Aunt Rebekah’’s lap. Wouldn’t Madam De Louie be proud? I think she would be. I am going to try to mew my sweet little mew again tonight when my humans say thay’re blessing after meal. I hope we are having chicken tonight!
So, this is my kind of day. I got to sleep in this morning, and I'm going to be in my pajamas all day! Oh, right, I promised you a surprise. Well, I always wanted some one to tag me, and nobody has, so I am going to make up a tag and tag some people. But first, I want to write a little bit more.
Mom and Rebekah are going to some ballet lecture thing, but Mom said I could watch I Love Lucy during lunch! I think they are the episodes; "Little Ricky gets a dog" and "Lucy and Superman". We used to watch I Love Lucy all the time, but when we moved, we sort of stopped watching TV Land. Or any other TV shows. Well, I can't think of anything else to say. Here is the tag!
1. What are your initials? RLR
2. How old will you be in 30 years? 40
3. Where would you most like to vacation? Hm...Hawaii
4. Rainy or Sunny? Rainy
5. Do you make anything for Thanksgiving dinner? Yes
6. If so, what? Asparagus Casserole
7. What do you want to be when you grow up?A movie directer and Author
8. What is your favorite day of the year?My Birthday!
9. What is your favorite subject in school?Writing
10. Look left, what do you see?The window
11. Look right, what do you see? The dining room
12. Do you have a favorite stuffed animal?Yes
13. If so, what and who is it?It is a stitch, and its name is Stitch.
14. Have you written any books, or short stories?Yes. You can see them on Rachel's Writings
15. Do you ever wish for a different hair color? Yes
16. Superman, Spiderman, or Batman? Superman
17. Do you have a pen pal, or e-pal? No, but I think it would be fun to have one.
That's it! I know I tagged a lot of people, but I want a lot of people to do this tag! For family, if you want to do this, just copy the tag, put it on an e-mail, and write your answers. Bye!
Cheerio!

Lionel Skinner pulled a rifle equipped with a silencer and scope. As the tiger scanned for the enemy he sensed-rather than saw-Skinner focused on the animal's unusual black-and-white stripes. With a faint muffled pop, the rifle fired. The tiger staggered back, then tumbled off the rock.

Rosie So, I'm coming down with a cold. Its strange, because I usually get one in the spring, so I am not sure why I'm getting one now. Right now I'm sitting at the computer with a box of tissues next to me. Oh, well. If I'm on tomorrow, wait for a surprise! And if I'm not, then wait for Thursday! ~Rachel
So, I'm cleaning my room like crazy because We have more then a dozen people for Thanksgiving day. Great Grandma, Grandma & Grandpa, Uncle Scott, Aunt Sherry, Cassandra and Skyler. Plus, Dad, Mom, Sarah, Rebekah, and me. I don't know where Aunt Sherry & Uncle Scott are staying, probably in a hotel, but Cassandra is staying in my room with Rebekah, Skyler in Rebekah's room, and me in Sarah's. I don't know if I should be happy, or mad about that. I guess neither, because I have no choice. Anyway, I don't know how who ever is sleeping on my bottom bunk is going to be able to sleep there, because ever since I cleaned it out, Daisy has claimed it as her own. She won't leave it for two hours. Oops, I need to do something. By!
~Rachel
Hello everybody. Did you like Rosie's idea yesterday? I thought it was very good. Well, today is going to be the usual Wednesday. School, chores, Hebrew school, bed. Usual stuff.
So, we have got most of the Fall stuff out. Window stick thing-a-ma-bobs. Mr. and Mrs. Gobble. Leaf wreathes, pilgrim and indian bears, and we are listening to Thanksgiving songs. We watched "Happy Holidays", yesterday. We are really ready for Winter. Or at least, I am. I don't know about everyone else.
BTW, I am adding the Harry Potter thing that Rebekah put on her blog, which I would like y'all to know that I found for her, but, never mind about that. Here, I will add it down here so you can see who I am.
As Cho Chang, you are pretty, popular and intelligent, but quite sensitive and vain.
I am not as it says, (sensitive and vain) but I like that fact that I am in Gryfindor. Well, I should go now.
Ta-ta!
Rachel
P.S. Scroll down to the music, and you will see my new pet, Brambleclaw. See yah!

Hello everyone! Today in History, we are learned about...well, religions. I am not exactly sure how to put it. So, how have your days been? How was your Halloween? I think I already asked that, didn't I? Oh, well. Oh, right! I forgot to do Johnny and Daisy's diary and journal entries on Friday & Sunday, didn't I? Well, here is Johnny's anyway.

So, did everyone like Johnny's Journal entry? I will be back tomorrow with a page from Rosie's Recitings. Oh, she changed the name just in case you were getting confused. She will...well, I'll wait for you to see to find out.
C yah l8er!

Happy Halloween! Of course, I don't celebrate Halloween. I think it is silly, going around and getting candy just because they are dress up in weird costumes. Anyway, even if we did celebrate Halloween, I wouldn't be able to go trick or treating tonight, because tonight is shabbat!
Did everyone like the pictures yesterday? The cats are so cute. Oh, just to let you know, my sister Rebekah has been updating her blog, so you should go to Rebekah's Blog.
She is "Singing and..." Well, maybe I should wait until you see her blog to tell you. Anyway, I should go. We are going to watch "The Mark of the Vampire." I really shouldn't tell you what it is about, but I will tell you at the end it is not what you think it is. Well, by!
Ta-ta, Rachel
Hello everyone. Whats up? Did everyone like my entry yesterday? Are you looking forward to Daisy's on Friday? I seem to be in the mood for questions today, aren't I? Thats probably because I havn't had a very good morning. First of all, I had a dream last night that I was a cat in ThunderClan (the best Clan in the series Warriors) and the camp was being attacked but I couldn't do anything because I was trapped behind something. I can't remember what. Anyway, I woke up just as it was getting good. Guess who woke me up? Johnny, that who. He stomped around on my bed a couple of times, and knocked some stuff of my dresser. After he started playing with my nutcracker, I threw him out. I tried to fall back asleep after that, but I just couldn't. Then five minutes later, "Meow! Meow! Meow!!!" Johnny was back. He nudged me, and lay down right in my face. I tried to get comfertable, but could you if there was some cat lying right next to you with his tail fluffing in you face? I didn't think so. Again, throw him off. I fell asleep only to be woken up by him again two hours later. This time he was in my room (not on the bed) playing with a bag. I decided to get some punishment. I picked him up, and cuddled him. I could almost hear him yowling inside his little brain; "No! Not that! Noooooo!!" After ten seconds, he had gotten enough of girly stuff and fled from the room, never to be seen again that night. Thats about it. Oh, I forgot to put some pictures up, didn't I? Well, here are some now;
We (Sarah, Daddy and I-Rebekah was at Ballet) all went on a hike at Blue Ridge Mountains. Here we are walking down the path, looking for something interesting.
Sarah and I seem to see something
Whats that?
Its a DEER!!! (and isn't it cute?)
Unfortunatly, I can't find the rest of the deer pictures, so you will just have to go with those two. We also don't have very many hike pictures.
Here is the picture I took of Daddy...
...and Sarah and I! (Nobody told me my hat was too low)
So, thats it for the hike. I don't really have enough time to put little sayings underneath the pictures, but here are some Caring for Creatures pictures anyway.
The last one is the scratching post, the most popular house for cats.
Well! There you have it, folks. Tune in next time-which will probably be tommorow!
Today is Tuesday and I wish it were Thursday. Want to know why? Because I haven't seen my best friends in three weeks! China, Victor, Willow, Don,Sweetie pie, Panther...don't sound familiar? All those names are the names of some of the cats at Caring for Creatures! I haven't been able to see them in three weeks-due to the fact that Mom has been gone three weeks. Today is a sort of warm day, but its still really windy. We all are joking about how Mom brought California winds with her.
So...what have y'all been up to? I don't know what to talk about, so I guess I will do a page in Rosie's life. Literally, a page. October 28, 2008
Dear Molly,
Today the cats wer men meen agan. Of cors, they always ar. I dont get wy dazee has to eet my food, and wy jonny has to meow in te the midl of the nite. It is so anoying wen Im triing to get my buty slep. Thay just dont under stand the lif of a dog. Im going to tel yu a sekret, Molly. Somtims, I purent purtend that Im underdog. Luv, Rosie
So, thats a page out of Rosie's Diary for you. Remind me, and I will try to put one on once a week. Maybe every Tuesday? And every Sunday for Johhny, and Friday for Daisy? That sounds good.
Ta-ta, Rachel
Hello! I am a ten year old Jewish homeschooler, and I love Lilo & Stitch. I want to be a movie director and an Author when I grow up, and I have already written a few stories on my other blog, Rachel's Writings. I would love to be friends with any new people. Scroll down for some things to see at the bottom.
