Hi ya'll

Hi ya'll. Its been a while since I have written a full entry, so I will try to do one, 'K?

So, Mom Sarah and bekah left for PA and CT, while Dad and I stayed home by ourselves. Everything went well, I was working like a Cinderalla I was cleaning, Dad was working, everything normal. Actually, nothing big happened. Daisy caught the first mouse ever in the since we moved, (two, to be exact. Johnny messed up the first one) Rosie howled every time someone walked by, and Johnny trashed my room. Usual stuff. When they came home, Rosie went crazy. Bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark! Johnny never left his Mommy's side, and even Daisy seemed hapy that they were home.

The night after they got home, I watched Ratatoulle  in Mom & Dad's room, because Rebekah was watching The Clone Wars  in the living room. Mom and Dad were out at some persons house from CBI. (Congragation Beth Israel.) Well, I G2G. See ya,

                                                  Rachel

The Great Dancer!

Yesterday

Yesterday we got up at 4:15 AM to go to the airport. We were driving Allie up there to Alaska Airlines. We drove 4 hours, put her on the airplane, and waited. Waited, waited, waited, waited, and waited for the plane to take off. They were paging some guy, and he came in just as the doors were about to close. Then they had to getthe plane ready before they finally took off.
We drove for about another hour, and then arrived at IKEA. I got a vase, fake flowers, a big green leaf that hangs over my bed, and a reading lamp. I have decided on my room theme;purple & green. I also got some Sweedish Fish (candy) for Dad and I when Rebekah, Sarah, and Mom leave. Then Mom got really nice and bought us all a cinnomon roll. We drove for three more looooooooonnnnnngggggg hours, and finally arrived home at about 2:30. I instantly tackled my room and put a lot of suff up, all except my lamp & leaf. Dad & Mom will probably help me with that today.
By the way, to those of you who asked how Michie Tavern was, it was really fun. Before the tour, we drank some of Mr. Michie's Red Punch (it is sooooooo good!) and then we got the tour. We saw the mens parlour, the womens parlour, (played a game in the womens parlour called ''Shut the Box''.) and learned a dance. We also saw the kitchen, privy, and well. Then we went to the restourant. We got there at a good time, because just as we sat down with our food, the bus tour people came in. After lunch, we went to the clothier. We got to dress up, and Allie got a bonnet for Katie and herself, and I got a hankercheif. Next, we went to the General store, and I got a six color pen, and a cat lover key chain.

This is Allie and I with our outfits.

In front of the clothier.

Us with our tour guide playing ''shut the box.''

The back of the dress:isn't it cool?

So, there you have it folks. Tune in tomorrow for a new entry!

Wed 30 July 2008

Busy Week.

Hi everyone! We have had a busy week at our house. We picked Allie up from the airport two Sundays ago, and she is leaving tomorrow. But first let me tell you what we have been doing;

We (Mom and I) drove 4 hours to go to the airport, which was at the border of Virginia and Washington D.C. We actuall drove into Washington D.C., and saw the Lincoln and Jefferson memorial. Then we drove back into VA, and got Allie. We drove back home and arrived at about 12:30. Ring a bell? We arived home the week before at 12:30. When we came home, surprisingly, the animals came down to sniff Allie suspiciously. When they didn't smell an intruder, they went back to there naps. The next day (or rather in the morning, since we arrived at 12:30 AM) we just hung around the house. Mom had gotten us some croissonts the day before, so we had a yummy breakfast. Monday we went to the lake, and then again on Wednsday. On Wedsnday, though, we met some really nice girls; Sydney (age 12) and Ceaira. (Age 11)  We saw them again on Thursday, and had a really fun time playing dolphins. On Frieday we cleaned the house, and all of our usual Frieday stuff. On Saterday, Dad, Sarah, Rebekah and I went to Synogoggue while Allie and Mom stayed home. Sunday, Allie, Mom, and Sarah went to Church while Rebekah, Dad, and I did the chores. First, we went outside and tried to wash the porch. When the powerwasher didn't work, we wnt inside to scrub the ENTIRE breakfast nook floor. Plus, we scrubbed the walls. Then everyone else came back and we were allowed to have lunch remembered to have lunch. Monday, Allie & I went to a crafternoon class at the library, and made a sort of necklass string so your sunglasses would never get lost. I gave mine to Mom, Allie gave heres to the teacher, Rhonda. Then on Tuesday we went to the lake for the last time (the last time with Allie with us ofcourse) and we met the sisters again! We played a nice game of dolphins and sharks, and capture the cone, and then they had to leave. They visit every summer, so they will be coming back next year, but we will still miss them. We all wrote down our e-mail addressess, and then they really had to go. They were visiting from Maryland. Today, at about 11:30 we will be going to Michie Tavern for lunch and a tour. Well, thats about it. I will try to write on Frieday.
