Polka-Dot Popcorn Bowls

This is a recipe for popcorn bowls that look cute and taste great.

You need:

3 tablespoons butter

4 cups tiny marshmellows

6 cups of popped popcorn (about 1/4 of a cup unpopped)

1/2 cup small candy or mini M&Ms

Lemon Sherbert (or icecream)

Butter six 10-ounce custard cups;  set aside.  In a 4-quart Dutch oven,

melt 3 tablespoones butter over medium heat.  Add the marshmallows and

stir untill melted.  Add popcorn; stir to coat.  Stir in the candy pieces.

Divide evenly into the custard cups, pressing firmly onto the bottoms and up the sides with buttered fingers.  Cool at room temperature for 1 hour.  Lift the popcorn mixture out of the custard cups and place on serving plates.  Place a scoop of sherbert into each popcorn bowl.  If desired, drizzle with ice-cream topings.
