Clogging
Last week I was supposed to be going to clogging classes again. Except now we can't clog at the same place because they got new floor. Saturday my mom had some ladies come over for a while, and one of them thought of a good place we could go instead. Of course, we can't clog tonight because IDK if they've even checked out the place. But as long as it'll work, classes should start up next week or so.
Since I know a lot of steps, sometimes I try to make up dance routines to different songs I listen to. Mostly just Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus music. I probably listen to music CDs most when I'm clogging.
Do any of you dance? If so, what kind of dance?

Cats
In August my mom and I had to take my cat Sammy to the vet. He wasn't eating, and all he did was lay around. (More than cats usually do.) The vet said there might be something we could give him, but he was 18 years old so it might not last long. We figured it would be best if we got him put to sleep.
In September a homeschool family found a stray kitten. They were trying to find a home for him, and so we took him. He's black and actually looks a lot like Sammy, except he still has a kitten look and his fur is a lot longer. We named him Casey.
I remember the first day we had Casey, he kept meowing like something was wrong. I started crying because I didn't think I could take care of him myself since he seemed needy, although I really wanted to keep him. While I was crying, Casey came over and bonked his head in my eye (not where it hurt) like, "Don't cry! It's okay!" It was SO SWEET!!!
He's gotten bigger now, although I think he still has a kitten look. With all of his fur, he looks about the size Sammy was.
He loves to cuddle, unless he's in a playful mood. I use a straw to play with him, and he really likes playing with one of my dad's socks. It had a hole, so dad threw it at him to see what he'd do and Case went nuts!!

I turned 13 years old on 7/11/09. I had a sleepover from 7PM to 11AM. I decorated the house with red streamers and red balloons. The cake was red, and I got red licorice for the party too. I was allowed to invite 5 of my homeschooled friends over.
First we made things out of Perler Beads. You stick them on a plastice thing, and then iron it and they all stick together. It's pretty cool! This is what they looked like after they were ironed:
Then when we were done, we did a mystery thing I made up. I gave each girl a piece of paper that had a clue on where their next clue was. The last one told them to go into my parents bedroom and get the prize, which was a box of candy.
Then I think we had cake and icecream. I decorated it myself. The icing thing said "Easy Sqeeze." Trust me, it WASN'T! And after a while, the icing sort of grew roots. No really! It looks like it did. See for yourself:

Sleepover
Yesterday I had 3 girls spend the night. The theme of the party was "favorite things." Whoever brought the most of her favorite things won a prize. We stayed up until about 2 AM. We played a few games, and watched a DVD, and... I can't remember. I'm too tired to think. Even though I just got done taking a very long nap!

A pleasant Mother's Day
A few days ago my mom and I went to my Grandma's house. Mom was putting some things in the back seat, and slammed her right index finger in the door. It started bleeding, and then I think it swelled up. She went to the doctor and he said she needed X-rays. When he moved it around it didn't hurt her, so he decided she must not of broke it. He didn't have her get X-rays after that. She did have to get 3 stitches though. Right now it's green! It's really creepy!!!

What's happened most recently:
I've been going to a church to take a yearly test thing. It started Monday, and that morning and this morning I've been getting up at 6 AM. Yes, 6 AM! I like to get up that early ((as long as I'm not really tired)) but I am SUPER tired right now. Thankfully tomorrow is the last day of it, and we're supposed to end early. Don't get me wrong, I love going there and doing homeschooling in public ((lol)), but I'm am SO tired. My mom agrees.
Sadly, my friend and I are in different grades, so we're not in the same class
. She's in the 5&6 grade class and I'm in the 7&8 grade class, but next year we will be together.
Today after testing she came home with us for a while. We did our usual ((play Nancy Drew computer games)), but then we had to stop because my dad was bringing our other computer home. It was messed up so he had to get it fixed. The monitor also messed up so now we're using this other one Dad's friend gave us. It's a lot smaller, so everything looks squooshed. Oh and did I mention our TV went out? Now we have a smaller TV too! LOL We haven't had the best of luck, but I kinda like the smaller things. It looks all new and different.

I really need to update my blog!
Okay, I think besides the "things for you" posts, the last one I did was about my mom getting a job. Well, after 4 weeks something happened and she quit. Now she's looking into getting a new job. I think she's going to some place to take a typing test soon.
